But if one has "principles" based on the Bible, shouldn't one have "principles" for all the Bibles's teachings?

Was it principles or was it personal preference - you know, "vagina" over "anus", as he put it.

If one is going to raise up the Bible against another, then shouldn't one OBEY the Bible consistently if they value God's commands and principles?

A principle is a standard or rule of personal conduct.
The principle which caused the furor was his stand on homosexuality, which he claimed was based on his belief in scripture. His crude language was addressed by many, but doesn't change the principle, IMO.

I'm not a quack fan, at all but A&E caved their so called principle over $$.
Robertson did not recant or apologize for the principle he espoused...that homosexual activity was sinful or immoral, if you will.

With respect Dan, the direction I 'push' is simply toward the facts.
The uproar over mr quacks "anti- gay" comments brought the liberal PC crowd out in force.
A&E, was offended and upset and promptly suspended Phil....following the PC line.
Push back was overwhelming from the quack family and their viewers/public.
A&E backtracks from their PC principle$.
Phil never backtracked from his position on homosexuality although did address his 'coarse language', I think.
Phil never missed anything, not an episode, not a taping....not a paycheck,

There were many reports that A$E initial reaction was due to many of their EMPLOYES being offended at the remarks. So much for your view of the facts. This is exactly what TB is saying. To jump to the end of the story and claim they were not offended.... is dishonest.
