#1.)I am a current member of LBC.
#2.)I read a post from Tim Christoson saying that he said many things to many interviewers. He can't control what they print. Is it possible that he lied? If you want to believe that, then it doesn't matter what is said, you will believe that.
#3.) I have personally been in our local paper (before online news and facebook) and we as a family had to do many things to protect our family from the story that was printed. We had people coming to the hospital wanted to see us, etc. These families were thrown into the public light, not of their choosing and NOT for a good thing. I would want someone to help protect me and my kids. I wouldn't want anyone coming to the school or church to talk to my kids either.
#4.) Jeremy got hurt and started using prescription meds to help with this. I have heard "gossip" as to why he left the church and what happened, but I will not spread that. He was my daughters teacher up until he left, so I do have some first hand knowledge as to his injury.
Regardless of the relationship between Jeremy and Erik, these two men left behind loved ones. What Jeremy did was wrong, but his family will have to deal with that pain and suffering forever!
We may never know the truth. What we should doing is praying for the families, showing them loving and compassion.
