If this is true, the revivalist is creating semantic confusion between the Person of Christ and the organization called the Church.
That is what I was pondering. I think this is an error based on his 'worshiping' an English translation - linking "the way" universally without context.

Apparently this was a re-used messaged from his own local Church.

Around the 13 minute mark he speaks about "the way"

Last night John 14:6 was quoted, "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
It was followed by the comment, "When Jesus went up to heaven - the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE didn't leave with him. So - where are they today?"
Using scripture he said the 'truth' was our Bible, I recollect he said the 'life' was the Holy Spirit ... and the 'Way' was the Church. He spent more time on The Church being the Way since he was seeking to prove that since we are "the way" we must be about the business of serving in our Church.
His proof for saying "The Way" was "The Church" was basically Acts 9:4, where we read "why are you persecuting Me" compared to other parts in Acts where Paul says, "I persecuted this way unto the death", Acts 22:4
In short, persecuting Me is the same as persecuting Church and that would be the same as "the way" ...
What are your thoughts about this?
I always believed when Jesus said he was "The Way" he was referring to Himself as the only way to be right with God. Back to the whole Lordship topic we had a few weeks ago.

Believers are living stones of the spiritual house of which Jesus is the chief cornerstone, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
All believers are a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession.
