She is her own person and I trust her implicitly. She has NEVER given me the slightest reason to doubt her.

As is often the case on the FFF, the Freebirds seem to want to make their own brand of legalism uniform for everybody else.  If a person chooses to opt for the "never alone with a member of the opposite sex" rule for prudence' sake then they are automatically branded a legalist, even though there are fine examples like Graham (who clearly was NOT a legalist).  Nothing like allowing liberty of conscience.  I'm reminded of the admonition "who are you to judge another's servant"?
