That 3% figure is a textbook example of lying with statistics. Even hard-left sources such as Slate call that statistic "meaningless"; the Washington Post implies that it's intended to obscure an accurate breakdown of their revenue sources.

Basically, a "service" is a "discrete clinical interaction," so Planned Parenthood counts an abortion on an equal footing as, say, a pregnancy test, even though the abortions actually comprise a significant percentage of their bottom line.

Actually you can say that. My wife and I had dinner with a young lady and her infant son Sunday night that had gone to PP. There was no pressure to get an abortion. PP provided services and then made referrals for anything else that was needed. The young lady was going back to PP to talk to the intake worker because of the knowledge  she had of all services in the community.

I would be silly to say the service is so comprehensive in 100% of cases but it is just as silly to say they are anti child at any level of development.

We do not have to agree with abortion. It is legal and that most likely is not going change. Whether we agree or not women do have this as an option. 320,000 made a choice that is legal. Some would have made the decision even if it wasn't legal. PP believes people should have a choice. Your statement that they aren't in favor of parenthood is blatantly false.

It does not. PP provides pregnancy tests to many women who do not have an abortion. PP provides contraceptive and statistics should that when women have access to contraceptives that the number of abortion decrease. PP is in favor of choice whether you or I agree that the choice is moral.

What you illustrated is that they do not hold the same view as you on abortion. It states nothing about being against parenthood anymore than you believing in contraceptives does not make you against parenthood. It just means that you agree with the wisdom of planning the number and when your children are born.

I understand that you call it murder, infanticide and eugenics. The Yuuuge difference is that PP provides more than one type of service. One that you disagree with and others that you do agree with including providing birth control. You can not make a sweeping statement that all PP cares about is abortion when 3% of their business is abortion.
