"Explain how there is not such thing as a gay person?"
There are obviously men drawn to having perverted sex with other men just as there are people drawn to necrophilia, pedophilia, bestiality, and just about every other sexual perversion imaginable.  That doesn't mean that sort of behavior should be embraced and taught in the public schools or made legal any more than the behavior of lying, stealing, murder or rape should be accepted because people are drawn towards those things.

Intolerance - "I have found that the most intolerant people are the ones who talk the most about tolerance.  They don't allow me to simply accept something but not agree with it.  They will want me to endorse it.  Nowadays if you don't agree with something you have a phobia.  To take a stand is defined as hate.  Conviction is called fanaticism.  Truth the church has believed for centuries now are regarded as discrimination."  Greg Laurie

Valiant try but it does not at all explain the emotional attractions and attachments developed apart from the sexual.
Since you reject the scriptures and simply pick and choose what you wish to believe there is no basis for even discussing the issue with you.

What we need is a national revival/repentance among evangelical Christians in the US.

I agree. And it should start with those who weekly stand behind the pulpit, posing as God's interpreters to people to begin by begging for forgiveness for their nationalism and pride, living in humility, loving the brethren even those with whom they disagree and living as servants to those to whom they 'lead'.

We get a couple hundred of those to repent and who knows? It just might start a spark.

I'm thankful Pro life Smellin is more noble than many other men...especially those posers in the pulpits!
