If the Bible says ?That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.?

Doesn't that mean that someone who confesses Jesus with his mouth and believes that He rose from the dead...is saved?

It doesn't say "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, and if thou shalt get every aspect of doctrine and practice perfectly right, thou shalt be saved."

For centuries, sincere believers have said, thought, believed and done wrong things in the name of Christ, believing themselves to be convinced of their correctness. I know God will have to correct a whole lot of misconceptions on my part...

If Matt Maher is a sincere believer and is saved, but has some of his doctrine wrong as likely each of us does, can he not be used of God to create songs of worship?
