And my questions about which topic is more prevalent were serious, not coy.  You made the claim, with the assumption that it was obvious which theme(s) was more abundant.  I just asked for evidence of your claim.

some were and some were not..... but what does it matter?.......

I think it would matter greatly if the person's perspective was colored by relationships that they had forged with Baptists that were largely from the kind known for their "militant" views (often rightly referred to as IFBx on here), rather than more moderate grace-oriented ones.  The strain that comes from Norris and Hyles variety is somewhat notorious for majoring on the minors and hypocrisy.

You got that right Al and even a non-baptist knows that.

to most of us you come off like a couple of junior high school boys cutting farts in class - then giggling and winking at each other when people object.... ......... and like i have told you many times before..... all you do is give whatever denomination you represent a name that stinks.......

ummmm, you sure do know how to win friends and influence people.   This *is* called the "fighting" forum for a reason.  People don't generally come here to play nice.  And the posts that consist of prodding and poking come from all corners of the denominational spectrum.  The cals gig the free-willies.  The drinkers mock the abstentionists.  Freebirds and Pharisees lay the smack down on each other.  It's a daily thing that you can set you watch to.  It's been that way since the first iteration of the FFF, and me and Pavlov aren't even close to being alone.

Take your pick, Matt...this forum is filled with threads on repetitive subjects, many of them are about perceived IFB pet beliefs...KJVO, pants on women, Pastoral dictatorship...etc. We both participate in those threads with some regularity.

I have not said that we had equal pastors or elders, in fact I have always argued otherwise...ask slowly recovering IFB...who called me an a@@hole.....in Christian love, I'm sure.

Talk to whoever sets the dress standard for your Christian School.....
