You can not even define a Jew so I wouldn't be talking. Yahshua is a perfectly accepted transliteration.

You don't know Hebrew. So, how in the world can you even discern that Yahshua is perfectly acceptable?!!

Jehovah's Witnesses think that Jehovah is an acceptable transliteration as well.

In Hebrew the vowel point (sh?wa) is ALWAYS transliterated as an "e" because it sounds like an "e" and NEVER sounds like "ah." The ONLY people who use "Yahshua" are the cultic Sacred Namers. Why? Because they don't know Hebrew, either!

Wow, I see you know how to use Wikipedia.

No. I know Hebrew.

What tipped me off was your strange transliteration.

You have subscribed to a cult that wants to be known as Hebraic YET doesn?t even know the most basic Hebrew vowels.

The point is that I or anybody can say anything they want.

The point is that when you said, "Those duped by TV preachers are making the mistake of getting the truth from a man and not from God," you completely lacked all self-awareness. We have nothing but the word of a man to go on when you claim you hear from the Holy Spirit. Whether or not you make money from it is irrelevant.

And that's one way you can guess that Hooper is a phony "Hebrew Roots" believer. From what I understand, they do study Hebrew in order to understand the Jewishness of the Old Testament Scriptures.

Hooper has to handwave away the study of Hebrew as well as half the Mosaic Law. There's nothing specifically "Hebrew" about his "Hebrew Roots" except for a bad transliteration or two. His version of "Hebrew Roots" is really anti-Hebrew: it's a variation of Marcionism.

I am almost 60...6'4"...195lbs...great heart...great energy...33 waist...and I not only love my beef and chicken, but I love it even more when I shoot an elk and eat that great meat!  But thank you.

Are you on medications? It's rare for someone your age to be that fit and not still at least have high cholesterol and high blood pressure. God did not design man to eat meat. Read Genesis chapter one.

Should pets also be vegetarian as per Genesis 1:30? Explain how many wild animals eat meat? I don't believe God is giving a moral command here. I think it is the same as the command to be fruitful and multiply (not everyone can do that though). There is reason to believe that humans and animals over time adapted or developed their bodies to eat meat.

Btw, I am  on thyroid medication for hypothyroidism but I was never overweight and my doctor just told me to eat more - no restrictions on what to eat - just eat whatever I normally eat. I also exercise regularly (lift weights, walk [occasionally run] a lot).

As to the Hoopster?s OP....

I am 20+ years over 40, not overweight and spent 2 hours exercising on my bike yesterday. Day before, I ran 5 miles. And I eat meat for every meal....and for snacks if I can manage it.

Won't keep you from heart disease and cancer.

Well Tony Hutson is over 40, fat, and still preaching weekly, reviewing restaurants, and doing stand up comedy. He always says it's "Hip to Be a Square".

Try going vegetarian.  Incorporate one day a week to a 24 hour fast. Add in a small increase in your activity and you will feel better. Enjoy reduced joint pain and better sleep and other claims I can't prove but am convinced of. Things like lower blood pressure and lower cholesterol. Cows are healthy eating the foods they were designed for, and we are too.

I'm a secondary vegetarian. Cows eat grass. I eat cows.

Or just do what Tony Hutson does, just tell fat jokes in the sermon. Hutson makes light of overweight women and men wearing skinny jeans.
