I rode the soul-winning float the year that it snowed and was like 40 below.
The next year I helped pack lunches <no pickles for me> and one day I was a fake convert.
One year I worked for Tim Coleman, supplying the food for the box lunches. I made 4 round trips from the college to the church every day. Very exhausting week.
One year a friend and I were sent to a hotel to welcome Pastor's School delegates. We would stand in the lobby and offer to help take their luggage to their room.
You will have to say that Pastor's School was a fine tuned machine. Yes, behind the scenes there may have been rushing and chaos, but out front it all looked so smooth.
I remember one year JC sitting at a small round table with about 2-3 young guys stand around him, every now and then he would tell one of then something and they would leave and go do whatever and then come back.
