Having said that, waiting on Treiber's comments.

And other than a few independent web sites and local news sites there isn't much about this case. It's different from the Jack Schapp case which Chappell did talk about. There are so many Giovanellis (by this I mean predators) that if you speak about one why not mention them all? You can go to stopbaptistpredators.com and get all the Baptists (not just independent) predators on there. Chappell is reponsible for protecting the congregation he is overseeing so he should be concerned about possible predators within that local church. If there is one 1 Corinthians 5:12 needs to be applied (along with calling the police).

Why is this different from Jack Schaap?

Make sure to keep us posted.
illinoisguy said:It is truly heartening to see some serious pushback and protest, from within the IFB movement, against the traditional tactics of slandering and bullying the victims of abusive IBF preachers, while covering up for the abusers. The Giovanelli case just might turn out to be a significant turning point for the better among IFBs, due to the widespread revulsion and public protest against the extremist defense of "divine right of pastors" by the Gray/Domelle clique.

99.9% of IFB pastors have done just that.
Life goes on.

Hmmm not really, more like 60% of IFB pastors did nothing.
