i have always thought mike pence was short on intellect.... but i had no idea he was as dumb as mazie hirono.... . (remember when she blamed trump for the fake hawaii missle alert/panic that hawaiis own democrat governor caused?) ........ ..i know mike pence has a lot of supporters among christians and conservatives.... but he has always impressed members of my family as someone who - as a leader - would give away the farm and throw his kids inheritance in with it, just to come as mr nice guy to the rest of the world ..... ..all while wearing that tortured sanctimonious look on his face .... as if to try and convince us he really doesn;t want to do it - but it;s just the right thing to do....:rolleyes:

bidens reversal of trumps policies in the middle east is why this attack against israel is happening... ...and unfortunately pence doesn;t know any more about leading the free world than biden does....

In the primary frenzy anything will be said by anyone. If the GOP candidates were smart, they'd pile on the administration that recently released Iran's frozen assets back to them. BUT personal one-upsmanship is the name of the game right now.

multiple news agencies are reporting what pence said ....... . i saw the video of pence making those comments and what he is claiming makes no sense at all... he has everything backward just as if he was reading democrat talking points.... .... he also blames putins invasion of ukraine on trump..... .but if trump was at fault for either of these things they would have happened when trump was president.... .
 
His odds of winning the nomination are about 1%, so I don’t care if he says the sky is green and the grass is blue.
 
Ya. I had high hopes for Pence but he's proven himself to be no different than the rest.

This really disappoints me about Pence. His last name might as well be Rino . . . I mean Romney.
I was always so impressed how he stood behind Trump while he was in office and was his loyal VP and now, now that he is running himself, apparently he didn't mean any of it.
This really disappoints me about Pence.

that is true.... but if he did something stupid like run as a 3rd party candidate he could still pull just enough conservative votes away from the republican candidate to throw the election to democrats..... ....and as already been demonstrated there are plenty of christian conservative voters who would do exactly that - vote for a 3rd party with no chance of winning just to satisfy their false sense of conscience or some misplaced principle..... not only jumping from the frying pan into the fire themselves, but taking the entire country into the fire with them..... smart leaders and smart people who want to be leaders don;t do that kind of thing..... but unfortunately the world is full of idiots.....

I’m not too worried about him running third party. His only chance at making a future livelihood is from getting handouts from a select sliver of the Republican Party. If he goes 3rd party, that’s out as well.

I want him to go, quietly, into the sunset - for his sake.
He's been a gentleman in past years. He's even the one of them that like Billy Graham, will not allow himself to be alone with the opposite sex. He's been a governor; a Vice President.
Like you said, he doesn't stand a chance of getting the nomination much less being elected and so, for his sake, I wish he would quietly go off into the sunset on a somewhat good note.

thank you.... people on the older forums always told me i should write a book... especially on the accounts i wrote of our hunting trips.... . but i always feel like my writing is all over the place.....with words misspelled - letters mis-arranged in the wrong order... . ..sometimes words in the wrong order or words completely left out of sentences..... i constantly have to go back and edit then repost and re-edit again before i ever get a final product i can live with.... ..some of it is just from thinking in one language and trying to write in another... but it;s also due to an element of dyslexia..... thankfully with computers making corrections is not that hard... ..but attempting to write something any longer than the typical extended fff post gives me a serious headache.... ...but thank you very much for the kind words and vote of confidence.... :)
