Ex-porn star who found Jesus is now challenging the adult film industry
Joshua Broome spent seven years in the pits of the pornography industry before hitting rock bottom and leaving it all behind in 2013
I have to say, I’m not sure I could attend a church with a pastor who was a former porn star, but maybe that’s a downfall on my part. What do y’all think?
I don’t know if I’d use the term “any better” because a sinner is a sinner, but I don’t consider the two acts identical. That’s like saying you wished someone would die because you hate them so much, versus actually killing someone.Just thinking out loud, if a Christian has lust in his heart for a woman, is he any better then a porn star?
Are videos still accessible? If so, then he should stay out of the office and the spotlight.I have to say, I’m not sure I could attend a church with a pastor who was a former porn star, but maybe that’s a downfall on my part. What do y’all think?
According to Wikipedia, he was one of the big stars of the industry, winning awards, and he’s only been out of the industry for about ten years, so I’m sure his videos are widely available and distributed. I’m not going to start searching online to verify! Are videos still accessible? If so, then he should stay out of the office and the spotlight.
He's just asking for trouble.

I disagree. How he responds to the trouble could be an issue, though. Paul had to deal with his well-known past. If this pastor handles his past wisely, I don't see his past disqualifying him from the office. Are videos still accessible? If so, then he should stay out of the office and the spotlight.

I agree. I know this is 100% true, but I also know myself and think I’d have to battle myself to not judge his past.I disagree. How he responds to the trouble could be an issue, though. Ask Paul. What if he had consented to and been complicit in to the murder of other people, even Christians?
No, but he was an apostle and the church is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.and since paul was brought up - i have yo ask this as well...... was paul a pastor?......
And no one could replay and observe his past sins over and over. No, but he was an apostle and the church is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.
i am actually more interested to see if someone here would want their daughter to marry this guy...... but i;ll play along with the paul angle....No, but he was an apostle and the church is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.
