Funny thing…I was actually referring to what a lot of people call “mountain bikes” (as in no motor). A lot of folks I grew up with call mountain bikes “dirt bikes” or “off road bikes.” I’m guessing because we have no mountains and we’d always ride them on dirt trails. Yeah, it gets a little confusing when making the distinction between a dirt bike with a motor and one you pedal. I guess it’s a local thing.
That type of bullfighting is illegal in the U.S. Has been for a long time.

Very cool. I’m planning a trip to Hawaii one day…might be a few years, but I’d like to do something like this when I’m there. I’m assuming tourists can rent an off road bike. Sorry, just can’t bring myself to say “mountain bike.”
Question: on this mountain bike, do you call the tires “dirt tires” or something else? We always said “dirt tires” or “street tires” for the bikes you ride on the paved roads.

That’s funny. I’ve only heard that name for the mud truck tires. Usually they just call them “muds.”
That must be called a "monster" because of its power to weight ratio. When I was first learning to ride the Goldwing, I was calling it a monster. It comes in at just under 1,000 lbs with an 1832 cc six cylinder boxer engine. If it was the same weight as the Ducati, I'd probably get myself in a world of hurt.

Um... Yeah. I just looked up specs on a 2021 Ducati Monster vs my 2003 Goldwing GL 1800...
The Ducati sports a 937cc V Twin that develops 111 HP and 93 Nm of torque. And has a dry weight of 366 lbs! (Less than 40 lbs heavier than my first bike, a Yamaha 250 Virago)
The Goldwing develops 118 HP with 167 Nm of torque at nearly three times the weight.

Funny (but true) story. Years ago I walked out of a local Walmart and hopped in what I thought was my Jeep. It turned out that someone had the same identical Jeep as mine and was parked right beside me. I only realized it wasn’t mine when I went to start the Jeep and noticed it wasn’t a stick shift. I completely freaked out and jumped out as fast as I could hoping the owner wasn’t walking out of the store.
I'm speaking of the helpers that also goad and otherwise inflict pain to further enrage the animal.

If you want to be fit and show off your bod and the grace and agility thereof before a crowd, there's dance and gymnastics. If you want to fight, there's wrestling and martial arts. If you want to fight a bull, there's American style bull fighting. There's a host of arts, the skill and spectacle of which would rival any of that of a matadora. And they don't require the senseless torment of a dumb animal.

First, holding wanton, silly women laden with sins accountable is not abuse. Second not everyone that challenges one of your opinions is the spawn of the devil, or is calling YOU a wanton, silly woman laden with sins. Third, I have no feelings for the bulls. I simply said animal cruelty is unattractive.
Training cavalry is one thing. Sport is another.
There was a James R. Hall who used to be my pastor before the Internet was born. He wasn't IFB, but other than that I know of no one named Hall. And judging by the disproportionate amount of vitriol you volley toward anyone who might disagree with you without their first offering the proper prostrations makes me think you aren't being fair to your Mr. Hall.
