Massive landslide that formed Earthquake Lake in Montana.

A group of us rode out there today. Mrs. abcaines is the one in the hi-vis vest, our bike is the red Goldwing lower center.

Read about the Hebgen Lake Earthquake (aka the Yellowstone Earthquake) here.

Yellowstone is on my to-do list. Beautiful country out there.

Indeed. But beware of TRAFFIC! We're staying in Ashton which is an hour south of Yellowstone. US 20 can get INSANE for such a remote location. West Yellowstone MT is bustling but flows well. Was advised by a friend if you plan to visit the park during summer, go on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Also, note that there are numerous other attractions within an hour's drive of the park that are a must see. I highly recommend the Earthquake Lake Visitor Center. Big Springs and Mesa Falls are great and not nearly as crowded.

Good to know. I’ll probably reach out for specifics once we figure out when we’re visiting. The plan is to visit the Grand Canyon next summer. We visited Hawaii this summer and @aleshanee was helpful with some tips, although I wasn’t on her specific island.

Me and the daughtero at a Griffons/Mules game. She's a Griffon, I'm a Mule. It's not seen, but I'm wearing a MWSU hat and UCM shirt.

[LOL. "Muleskinner" was the name of the campus paper.]
