My problem with Bell is how he phrases things in such a way that he can't be pinned down. In D.C. it is known as plausible deniability. Instead of "what I mean is" his answer is "that's not what I said".

When I find this style in a person's theological writings it has always been a signal to me that the person has something to hide. That they go to great lengths to obfuscate with their words only increases my suspicions. These persons are clever sorts, as it does take some skill to write page after page while walking on a "theological tightrope". There is an expectation of perspicuity when writing about theological topics, a lexicon that theologians all know, so when someone starts to invent new ways of discussing what are well understood topics, my "spidey sense" begins to tingle.

I've been playing DDO for about 3 years now, and haven't worn it out yet. I have one character at max level (25), my halfling monk, who is in my once-a-week static group. Mostly I have characters on Sarlona and Ghallanda.

Neverwinter seems like a lot of fun so far, but I've only tried it through the beginning levels with one character, an elf mage.

I'm on pacific time, and not available at all on Fri. and Sat., which are my heaviest work days.

Ok, let me get some new characters started and I'll let you know when I'm ready.  I also have a second Guild Wars 2 account (my son's, and he hates the game so he never plays it) if you want to try it.  I'll send you the information to download and login.

In my humble experience I find that my Catholic and Anglican friends are highly knowledgeable when it comes to their own Church history. I would never make a gratuitous assertion without first having the proper citations at my finger tips. I looked like an idiot once before when I debated them on church history.
They set me straight on the Baptist successionism front when I presented the IFB position several years ago. I'll not make that mistake again.

A gratuitous assertion can be just as gratuitously denied.
