I cannot see a single possible disadvantage to refusing. Heck, even the legal costs might be worth it to see them look ridiculous in court.

I didn't refuse them service. On what grounds would they sue?

No you didn't refuse to serve them but by showing only heterosexuals in your propaganda materials that might incite some unwanted legal problems. Probably no grounds to sue yes, but would it stop them? around here, not always imho. Id have no issue serving them but when it comes to partnering with them to push their cause (advertising in this case), "no" would be my unequivocal answer. Actually "I am too busy" would probably be what Id say to avoid harassment and legal issues.

On the flipside, since it is such a horrendous sin pushing it onto kids by default of being "open" (sexual abuse- grooming) I can't help but think their salvation would have an enormous impact on others. Paul called himself "the chief of sinners" and his impact upon us in phenomenal. So the self titled gays have so much to offer.... they've batted for both teams. Good for them! That bad experience would now be used for the good of others

You know the head of that organization, Fred Phelps, we may likely see in heaven? He was ex-communicated from the very beast he created

He tried to to teach compassion for people instead of hate prior to his death. I'd really like to know the specifics of what transpired.
Maybe his grandson Nate will come forward eventually

No one has a legal right either a) to not see heterosexuals snogging; or b) to see homosexuals snogging in someone else's brochures.

I've thought a couple days about this. The swastika is an intentional symbol of hate and offense to others. I don't see that I would make that cake but I would offer other ideas that did not include that symbol.

Sub make mention of making a T-shirt with "F-U" on it. I would put this in the same category, as that the shirt is meant to be offensive to those who read it.

In general, the purpose of a gay wedding is not to be offensive so that is how I would differentiate between the illustrations. If people are offended by that, it is of their own choice (and why would they be at a gay wedding anyway?). I am against war as an offensive threat. In that realm, I would not turn down a military cake for a military family with guns and ammo decorations on it. Their intent is not to be offensive but to recognize the life of the participant. And by-in-large, military in general is not offensive to the general public, though it may be to some leftists.

Christ served me despite my wickedness so I feel I should serve others who are less offensive to me as I am to God.

Here in California the award is up to 5,000 dollars in small claims court for a business,. 10,000 for a private party
And the Judges generally rule in favor upon whoever showed up. So imho you really need to attend the hearing
