I guess we will never get you to stop ignoring the Great Commission.rsc2a said:Binaca Chugger said:rsc2a said:Bump because?

Sure...if you ignore the fact that Scripture says absolutely nothing about knocking on doors as an evangelism method and everything that it says about our conduct being a witness for God.![]()
Go ye......rsc2a said:To teach and make disciples? What. in the name of Hyles does that have to do with knocking on doors?

Maybe this is why you are so angry and condescending? Instead of seeing others as people who are loved by God, people who Christ came to save, people who bear the very image of their Maker...you see them instead as a cancer on creation? Never seeing them as captives, never seeing them as broken, never seeing them as neighbor.
rsc2a said:I was guilty. I am no longer guilty. Why do you still live under the Law?
And captives are not combatants. You don't shoot POWs. Maybe you should reconsider the box you always shove your fellow man into.

Am I guilty apart from Christ? Absolutely. Yet I can stand before the very throne of God and boldly ask for my heart's desires from a position of holiness (His, not mine).
So put that paradox in your pipe and smoke it.

Its not a paradox.

Paradox: "a statement or proposition that, despite sound (or apparently sound) reasoning from acceptable premises, leads to a conclusion that seems senseless, logically unacceptable, or self-contradictory."
I was born with a sinful nature and am therefor a sinner. I was born again and am faultless and holy.
Jesus is 100% Eternal God. Jesus is 100% human.

It's amazing the impact you can have on others simply by loving your neighbors and living your faith.
Agreed. Now combine that with Mat 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. and it will be even more amazing the impact you can have for the Kingdom of God.
Yup. Nothing there about knocking on doors. Plenty of natural teaching opportunities simply by living my faith openly and loving others. Even had a baptism in there. And I don't come across as an obnoxious vacuum salesman.

Both statements aren't senseless or logically unacceptable or self contradictory.
Being born again doesn't change the fact you were guilty and continually sin, thus are actively guilty. You're guilty and free in Christ Jesus. Nothing contradictory, logically unacceptable or senseless. To the mind of child that only sees black and white. Yes. To an adult that realizes that more than one thing can be true at the same time..... Well. You get the picture.

I don't have time to watch the video right now. Did anyone tell them they were going to hell?

Wow! So the word "SEEMS" which is the crux of the definition is completely ignored.
Of course they are both true. Therefor they constitute a paradox.
