Many people in the comments articulate why they believe that Christians hate them. Read them. They aren’t lying. Christians do say horrible hurtful things. In the comments there are kind loving posts from Christians that are rebutted by people who have experienced the exact opposite too many times for us to wave off.

Read the comments after most any story on a controversial subject. Real or trolls, the “christians” are often the most derogatory and mean people in the whole thread. They are who lost people read and believe represent us. I am sure that often times they are correct and that they are reading the unfiltered thoughts of carnal Christians. In the video Charlie displays how we should interact with unbelievers. And even better he gives the credit directly to the Holy Spirit.

The pushback we get from the world is in large part reciprocal at least from their perspective. They act as if they’re expecting to be attacked because they have been somewhere along the way. As I have said before, tone matters. We need to be Spirit controlled when we speak the Truth.

For context, the women he is talking to have Only Fans pages. There is a part of the conversation where one gal explains that she “needs” the money but even if she didn’t she would continue. Charlie asked if he could ask her a very personal question, do you have a good relationship with your father? Her reaction was heartbreaking to me as a father of three daughters.

I must note that these ladies are lost and need the Savior. Maybe we should think of them in that context before we get all loaded up for war. They are damaged but not irredeemable. We need to be careful that we aren’t kicking people who are already down. Keep in mind that what we say and how we say it is also read and digested by any number of other people who see our words that we aren’t aware of. My post may be a dagger through the heart and soul of someone not even in the conversation.

I worked for a believer some years back. I’ll never make that mistake again. Are all believers like the man I worked for? No. But I will never put myself in that position again. I now have to see this man every week at church who is, in the eyes of many, a bedrock of the church. And the people love to gloat over this man and his wife about how they are just good Christian people. Yea ok!

Anytime he gets behind the pulpit I roll my eyes. I know and understand it’s my responsibility to forgive, and move on internally but it’s not always that easy.

I’ve done so much better with non church unregenerate people.

Regardless of how gracious believers try to be, they will be accused of "hate speech". A trend we are going to see get worse. Mere disagreement with a perverse lifestyle is already getting dissenters in hot water.

Two fact to remember:

1. Christians are human. We are still in the flesh. ALL of us have a tendency to "flesh out" from time to time. Get me on the subject of politics and I'll demonstrate this principle.

2. Just because someone speaks christianese fluently, belongs to the right church and carries a Bible, doesn't mean they are a believer.

Painting everyone with a broad brush because these two facts demonstrates you too fall into one of the aforementioned categories.

we all know that tone matters.... no one here has denied it... . but how much it matters and whether or not truth should be sacrificied in order to preserve a certain tone, is what i .. and i know others here - take issue with where your position on it.. and your manner of adressing us in it, is concerned...... ...

from the very start when you first came here to lecture us on this subject .... and complained about the guy who went off on a public schoolboard for teaching perversion to children....i asked you if your wife was a public school teacher because you sounded like someone who had a personal and even painful reason for bringing it up and for being so acrimonious about it......

well....you said she is not.... .but nothing has changed... . you still sound like someone who has a personal problem/connection to this issue..... and who.... instead of working to fix that problem in his own life.... has gone on a crusade against a majority of the forum.... trying to blame others for a personal problem you caused yourself... or tried to handled yourself - and which got totally out of control.... you even tried to vilify us for being trump supporters as if that also played into whatever personal failure it was you suffered.. ... ..

on the left there has been a saying and mantra for a long time now that says... "the way you say something is more important than what you actually said.."..... .. it sounds like words of wisdom at first... until you think about it and realize it;s just another of the devils lies..... . .... ..

the way a truth is presented has always been important... but it has never been more important than the truth itself.... ..and while it is true that when speaking to the lost our words need to be wise and guided by the Holy Spirit.... it is also true that this commonly heard excuse of how "we didn;t hear something or didn;t believe it, because we didn;t like the way it was said" - is an excuse that is used far too often by people who never wanted to hear a thing or believe it in the first place......

i work with people on the street all the time... some of them are homeless people you wouldn;t even sit next to if they showed up at your church... and others are single and often abused mothers with children.... and also trafficked teenagers in partnership with local police and a social worker..... .... we always work with proverbs 15 in mind... .. "a soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger..... .. the tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright: but the mouth of fools poureth out foolishness..."

we also don;t go out there for our own reasons or our own purposes...( feeding our own egos etc)..... it is all done in love and with the knowledge that not only could it be us out there homeless on the street or at risk of being swallowed by the world, ...but in a few of our cases it actually was at one time.....

so why have your efforts here stirred up so much anger - and made some of us feel as if you hated us as much as the girls in the video say they feel christians hate them?........ that;s something you need to sit back and think about.... ... did you bring this crusade of yours to the forum for the right reasons?.... to exhonerate yourself?... or was it simply to stoke your own ego and show us how you are more spiritual than we are?..... what is the tone of your own speeches here while you lecture the rest of us on tone?

and for the record... i did watch the short segment of video you posted....and i like what charlie kirk said.... . but i have no way to access the rest of the video.... . i told you before - facebook as well as many other social media websites are blocked on our internet system .... .and while i am very much aware of what a fans only page is and the dark reasons it is often used for ... i also know many artists and musicians use it too... ... so why was it important for us to know that the girls in the video had fans only pages?... ...you are always demanding we provide references and citations... . well.... you need to be more specific yourself if you are going to attach accusations and guilt trips to your proclamations..... .....

The video is the avenue to the comments. The point I made (as noted in the thread title) is regarding the comments about the video. I figured that folks here could read them for themselves. I can copy and paste some but I have a feeling that I would be accused of cherry picking.
