There is a new generation of Christians who have never read a Bible, know nothing about the Bible and get almost everything they know online.
You realize that their parents--people my age, who grew up without the Internet--didn't just die out when the zoomers started learning to read. We've had this technology just as long as them.
[quote[The idea of encouraging new Christians to avoid a physical Bible for whatever they may find online[/quote]
Who in blazes is telling new Christians to avoid physical Bibles?
I never said I was against digital Bibles, only pointing out the dangers of dumping the written word for whatever online text they may fall upon.
And you still have yet to support your contention that digital Bibles are a) going to be arbitrarily altered; and b) no one is going to notice and they'll go right along uncritically with what these hypothetical new fakes say.
Many like myself are just beginning to realize how deceptive modern AI can be.
Meaning that you're trying to conflate one supposed ethical problem with another.
