I think that Omicron will really pressure the political hacks (who have used Covid to extend their power) to actually use common sense when dealing with the disease in the future.
I want some of what you've been smoking!

3,484 new covid infections in hawaii reported yesterday... 12/30/21.. (not including totals from home administered tests...)
139 covid patients currently hospitalized..... almost double the number from a week ago........ .. what is amazing is that
very few people that are not infected seem to be taking it seriously... ... but what really had me dumbfounded yesterday
was when a friend of mine told me she believes the vaccine boosters are what is actually spreading the virus.....
i must have been staring at her as if in a state of shock coz i don;t remember saying anything.... .but she quickly added
that she believed the omicron virus was embedded in the upgraded vaccine.... ...i asked her if she had lost her mind and
she replied with... "oh.... that;s funny coming from you...".... .but she was actually angry... and walked away... ....the
ability we have always had as close friends to discuss extreme differences in beliefs in a light and friendly way is being
strained to the max by this.. .last week she sent me a video by a well known conservative commentator accusing all
conservatives who say they have been vaccinated but say we are against across the board mandates, and support the
right of americans to refuse the vaccine if they choose.. of virtue signaliing.... ??? ... the video went on with this
commentator saying how sick she was of all of us who take that position....
don;t know what to say about any of that.... ..but our household is considering going back to the precautions we took
through most of 2021.... not many acceptable alternatives at this point

Lol, those incredulous surreal moments where somebody says something that you hope is a joke only seem to happen more and more! Was looking at a social networking site where a relative of the family posted something in response to a question of when did they think that a dystopian apocalypse would occur. It was almost shocking how many people said that we are in it now and it's thanks to Trump..

Unlike the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine does not use messenger RNA (mRNA) to help the body build its defenses against the virus. Instead, it is an andenovector vaccine.

in september of 2020 reports began to surface that hospitals were over counting covid patients...
.. and at that time all such reports were being called a conspiracy theory by those on the left
.... .. ....well.....now many news agencies around the world are beginning to report that their own
hospitals have been counting patients hospitalized for other reasons as covid patients... including
our own main stream media right here in the overwhelmingly democrat left wing paradise hawaii....

so why are they suddenly coming clean with this admission now after a year and a half of cooking the books?
that;s a very good question... ..but it;s interesting to note that in the hawaii-news-now article, even though
they admit the practice has been inflating the numbers of true covid related hospitalizions they immediately
follow by making excuses for it.... and in effect say being dishonest about the numbers.. or as they would call
it... "spreading misinformation".. is a good thing..... especially if they think it supports their cause....
...... ..... fauci-ism finally rears it;s head and shows it;s face in the medical field... but many of us knew
it was there all along... my dad always said some people will lie when the truth fits better... .i;m beginning
to understand what he meant now.... and also why they couldn;t tell the real and very simple reason they were
doing it........ money..... . higher payouts from medicare for hospitaliztions with a covid diagnosis.... and so
the big spin begins trying to come up with some "noble" excuse for lying to cover the fact that regardless of

I have never understood those that make the argument that the Jesus will protect them from Covid so they don't need the vaccine but they never stop to think that He is also capable of protecting them from the vaccine.

When you say "capable of protecting them from the vaccine", you mean from any potential harmful side effects right? I agree with you that that is some kind of Twisted logic that thinks that God will protect a person without getting the vaccine but won't protect them if he does get the vaccine.

Our buddy Twisted, though I have all of the usual questions about his (un)usual source materials, posted something in another thread about Covid from Joe Rogan's podcast (who, though I don't follow, do occasionally listen to) interviewing a legit pioneer of mRNA Robert Malone. But either he or a moderator deleted it, so I'm posting it here because after I listened to it found it a worthwhile podcast to give a listen. Keeping in mind that I am not endorsing all ideas and theories in the podcast.
Having said that, and given the caveat that Rogan's libertarian leanings shine through in this podcast, I still think that there's some consideration that should be given to the strain that Omicron is putting on the healthcare system for a variety of reasons, including that necessary and urgent treatments could be delayed by the excessive burden of (allegedly mostly unvaccinated people) those who require beds.
