Don't swim in heavy water. You might get mistaken for Jimmy Carter.

i didn;t know it until the next day - but i didn;t come out of that water unscathed... .. although it wasn;t the water that got me it was the sun....... weeks of laying around the house - completely out of the sun recovering from surgery - left me a little more vulnerable to direct sun than i had been before... .. i got sunburned pretty bad on areas not covered by my wetsuit... .blistered in fact.... ... ... . that;s why i;m lounging around the house now watching tv and playing around on the internet..... .. but i will be ok in a couple more days..........

it made me wonder though..... we know jimmy carter swam in radioactive water and still lived to 100... .. but i wonder if he felt at least a little bit burned after drying off..... . would he have set off a geiger counter back then?... ... i felt like i could have set off a smoke alarm monday....
