It'll be interesting to see what becomes of his attack on Carson. I must admit, I kinda agree that Carson is, at the very least, embellishing his story.

He isn't embellishing nothing.

I heard someone say, the story of ourselves always sounds better when we tell it verses someone else.

You don't think Carson is embellishing his life story?

Nope!

^^^^ I knew eventually his twin would come to his rescue

When they can't defend what they say.... They'll always resort to the being "unkind" argument.

Ben Carson, first black presidential candidate in history to have his college records investigated by the media.

Racism.

Its not stopping Cruz....

Cruz isn't Canadian.

I'm wrong from time to time.

Case in point: see above.

He was born in Canada. Which pretty much made him a Canadian citizen.  Now he did renounce his Canadian citizenship in 2014. Till then... He was often taunted with "Canadian Ted".

So it is precisely as I said: Ted Cruz isn't Canadian, and hasn't been for more than a year.

So I don't know who you think you're arguing with, since clearly it's not me. Perhaps it's an imaginary friend, or a giant wooly elephant thing that grownups can't see.

Not true. Obama's pubic records were investigated. Carson's public records will be investigated.

Maybe you forgot, but Obama was vetted pretty harshly before he became the Demo nominee. Especially by the Clinton machine.

The rest of the story... Ransom. The rest of the story. You're just focusing on a rather small part of it.

Wasn't Obamas college records sealed?

I think Trump is popular not only because he is politically incorrect, but because we have a generation of voters who think that vetting a presidential candidate is equivalent to seeing how many "likes" he has on facebook.  We're electing a president, not a gameshow or reality tv host.

The rest of the story is you, yet again, refusing to acknowledge your error. No one denied that Cruz once held Canadian citizenship.

You fall so easily into that trap. Were you aware that "gullible" doesn't actually appear in the dictionary?

Cruz was aiming for the presidency before he renounced his citizenship. So... technically... I right. I simple said is didn't stop him.... and it didn't. He denounced his Canadian citizenship when the news media pointed out he had dual citizenship.... and that it might be problem because he's seeking the presidency.

Get your facts straight or stay out of adult conversations. ;)

He has been a successful business man most of his adult life. He's been a celebrity for a short amount of time. Treating him as being just an "entertainer" isn't accurate. He's more than that.

Ross Perot ring a bell?

I'm a bit younger than you.  Perot was my first vote, and the ideological mush in my head (voting for a third party guy) was only reinforced by the "he's a good businessman" line.  It takes more than being a successful CEO to understand the unbelievable complexity of dealing with international despots as well as working bi-partisan political differences.

My facts are, to quote myself: "Cruz isn't Canadian." Note the present tense. Please point out where my facts are incorrect, or shut up. Thank you.
