Do you remember the year some guy brought a large white Bible to Pastor's School?  He would stand up and wave it when he got excited during the preaching.  Dr. Hyles asked him if he had a Queen James Bible.

Dr. Hyles had a sharp mind and a quick wit.

I think someone had just showed him some depictions of James Stuart king of Scotland and England. He was still in shock as he didn't know what kind of guy James was.

Here are some of the images he saw of James dressing in women's clothes, Bro. Hyles didn't know he swung that way. What a shock.

Here he is much older but he still insisted on wearing women's clothing, look a mini skirt.

Too bad that the IFB chose to freeze dress standards at USA 1940's/50's. It would have been MUCH more interesting had they instead chosen the Jacobean era.

Well Hernandez came after Elmer. Elmer came after Rose O' Brian.

Rose O' Brian was the founder of the Spanish ministry.

Yes my folks were church planters in the 40s and 50s. They traveled a corridor between Minneapolis and South Texas.

I am not so good at the Spanish my mother made me learn any more. I can get by though.

My interest in the Spanish Dept is because it is about 20% of our members. Very important to me that it does well.

I do not work in the Spanish ministry, I am not in any of the pics. I am a behind the scenes kind of guy. Do not like recognition.

If I found out I was going to get an award I would not show up for the event, my wife is the same way.

I serve because of the joy of serving as it is its own reward.

Just saw this on Bob Hooker's Facebook.

I have been praying every day that Bob would be able to find a steady job.
It's been tough on Bob and his family since Schaap flamed out.

So, what happened to Jack Bachman who was still pastor as of Oct 25, 2015?
