whale fall..... a movie trailer .....

i just saw this for the first time today... ... from the looks of it it;s going to be a movie
about all the things to never do as a diver... . ..... the people who commented say the
book makes things much clearer and in fact makes it clear the main character is not an
experienced diver.... ... so obviously either the dad (josh brolin).... doesn;t have time
to teach him much before he disappears... or else did not really know much himself ....

not sure about the concept of a sperm whale swallowing a diver complete with his scuba gear
either..... or a human being able to survive the acids in a whales stomach once swallowed...
..(maybe it;s a specially prepared whale like the one that swallowed jonah....)..

but thankfully the movie comes out in october.... so i;ll have plenty of time to read the book
before seeing the movie... ..i don;t know if my dad has seen this yet or not... .can;t wait to
find out what he thinks about it....... .

Jonah 1:17 tells us: "Now the LORD had appointed a great fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah spent three days and three nights in the belly of the fish." i rmembered i had a picture like this in my files.... but it took some time to find it...... divers who have worked in reserviors doing rigging and repair work say they have seen catfish this big - with mouths that could easily swallow a man....... they said the fish hang around at the base of the dam in the murky depths eating whatever garbage and dead things drift down to them...... most of those divers carry bang sticks just in case one of the fish gets aggressive.....

Dworshak Dam is about 40 miles from our place. I've heard of divers going down there and seeing huge cats. One I heard of, went down, saw one, surfaced and refused to go back down.
