When was the last time you articulated the gospel to somebody?

We talk a lot of theology on here, and talking to other Christians about the sticky wickets of our faith can be helpful and challenging to our own set of beliefs and convictions, but all of our life is to be about serving Christ, enjoying Him, and making Him known to those who don't have a relationship with Him, so it only stands to reason that our pursuit of knowledge of Him would also lead us to telling others about this great Treasure we have.  I hope this thread might provide some encouragement and edification for those who desire to make the Savior known, so please share your soulwining/evangelistic endeavors with us.

When was the last time you had the opportunity to share Christ and the gospel with somebody?

When was the last time that the recipient of your presentation trusted the Savior?

Since I teach junior church and just completed a week of VBS, I have presented the gospel many times in the last week.  I always hope that the ones who say they received Christ did so.

I believe this is true...they cannot know why we live a certain way and they cannot know the reason for our hope and transformed lives unless we tell them.  It is not a matter of either or, but both and...We are to live the life in Christ and tell the world why!

I'm a committed believer in personal soul winning. Having said that, I can also appreciate any way in which people seek to share Christ. To me, even before any 'results', is like spiritual exercise. It keeps the blood flowing, and the body tuned up. Churches and Christians that don't passionately pursue evangelism fossilize. One of the reasons we have a sweet spirit at our church, and a good number of healthy Christians is b/c each week we have dozens of people seeking to share Christ with the lost. We don't get a lot of 'results' from it, but it is absolutely essential to Christian growth into maturity.

As to the specific question itself, for me, the last time I witnessed to someone was 11 days ago.

2 days ago, with my children. It's a topic I bring up to them when we do our family time or when we pray before bed time with them and of course when we have our "instructional time".
As a truck driver, there are several if my customers I see daily that I have been talking to for a while and we discuss things as it leads to the Gospel.

I still remember when my current pastor told me that we don't go soulwinning to get results or build up our church numbers, but rather to be obedient to Christ, my perspective on the matter changed significantly and considerable pressure was removed.  I never was a 1-2-3 pray after me sort of guy, but when I realized that soulwinning was simply a matter of obedience, and the results are in God's hands, it made the experience more meaningful and less fraught with angst.

that has been several weeks ago too.....  but you never know once the seed of the gospel is planted just when and where it might bear fruit..... people remember things and God still works in some people even after we have forgotten we spoke to them.... .so you never know...

but mostly i pray that God will guide my words... and the way i come across...  when giving to gospel to someone... ...

The Lord led me to witness to a young man yesterday and he bowed his head to accept Christ.
He is 24, Special Forces, on his way back to Afghanistan.  He has seen combat and others lose their lives.  God had first spoken to him through a Chaplin in basic training and God was again ringing his phone with the Gospel.  He knew it!  What a blessing to be a part of sowing and reaping for the Lord.
