To the homeless of Birmingham, AL.

They have a center that feeds them Supper everyday.

They get preaching before they eat.

In the Summer, it is in an outdoor pavilion.

In winter, it's in the cafeteria.

Still one of my favorite spots.

No parka, it was hot summer time. I would lay out in the field at night and watch those stars put on an amazing display.

In my living room to my family during family devotions.

When you entered the room did you receive a hero's welcome like you would at a chapel service at HAC?

Of course!  They know to be present and seated before family devotions begins.  I always enter the room to a thunderous standing ovation.  They will then sing "We love you, daddy, oh yes we do..."  I remind them that my muscles are here for their protection and read any notes they have left in my chair.

The standing o also occurs at every dinner.

Matthew!!!  You stated you like my style, but instead of the Standing O, you walked out with the negative Karma!?!

HHNNYYAAAH!!!  SIT DOWN WHILE I'M PREACHING!

Many times in nursing homes.

I was part of the nursing home ministry in Hammond when I was a college student. Another student and I would hold the services, he would lead the singing and I would do the preaching.

Yep, lots and lots of nursing homes.

I hope you wore mosquito repellent .
Bear repellent too.

The stars do seem brighter, bigger, and nearer to earth up there,  Eh?

Hot Summer time lasts for 3 weeks in June, next is July Monsoon, then August is what they call "January" in Atlanta.

Oh my soul....... we were in the middle of a national Forest and  bear repellant  never crossed my mind . :o :o

While preaching revival meeting  at an intercity Church in downtown St. Louis I took the assistant pastor out on the street to do  some soul winning. Talked to three older teenagers standing on street corner .I was able to go through the Gospelwith them. When I asked if they would be willing to call on Jesus to save them  right there, one of them turned to me and said, "Mr. I'm going to roast marshmallows in hell. "

One of the other guys said "Not me I don't want to go to hell, I want to go to heaven." the second one said the same thing. The 1st walked away & the other two prayed, went church that night, walked the aisle, professed faith in Christ and got baptized on Sunday.
