Transgenders initiated this at the local level. They wanted existing common sense factors over-turned.

You're speaking of the marriage ordinance/amendment overwhelmingly passed by the people of our state, which was overturned!

Because the legalities are different in that marriages, even though registered in the state are recognized nationally and when it comes to things like company benefits (insurances) and wills, there needs to be unity throughout states. Marriage and benefits is an inter-state issue where as potties would be considered local.

My point is that predators generally don't look like predators and the majority are actually people known to the victim. To assume or label all transgendered (or even the majority) as being predatory is not right.

Depending on what I knew about them. It would also depend on how well the kids knew the person as well as their comfort level is important too.. If, say my brother became a woman (which he did or will not), I wouldn't have a problem because I know him and trust him implicitly. If the kids' caretaker were somebody I barely knew, trust was not given. Trust with my kids should be earned but being transgendered wouldn't be a disqualification in and of its own right.

Just wondering. Is this a universal sign at all stores or just a single store? If it is a single store, perhaps a manager felt more comfortable putting up the signage but if it is corporately done, that would be more telling.

Also, where is the Target sign? How do we know the sign wasn't put up in say, a local Walmart somewhere?
