Who are the 144,000? Is 144,000 a limit to the number of people God will allow into the New Heaven? Are the 144,000 (144.000) end times witnesses for Christ?www.gotquestions.org
Except Dan.
So, not ALL Israel is saved?![]()
Why is the tribe of Dan missing from the 144,000 in Revelation chapter 7? | GotQuestions.org
Why is the tribe of Dan missing from the 144,000 in Revelation chapter 7? What happened to the tribe of Dan that resulted in it not being included in the 144,000?www.gotquestions.org

Got Questions is good enough for me. Deal with it.
Is that a problem for you?"It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins" (Rev. 14:4). So, only men?
Not necessarily. In your opinion, what is the significance of that?Is that a problem for you?

In matters such as this, when the simple interpretation fits I don't look for another. If I'm wrong on this, so what? So, really, you've just got no interest in interpreting it.
Whether I agree or not, I always find it interesting and fruitful to examine and understand viewpoints other than my own.In matters such as this, when the simple interpretation fits I don't look for another. If I'm wrong on this, so what?
This hermeneutic approach has been modeled to me since my earliest days of discipleship in SBC/IFB circles. Typically, when this model was not followed, it was because there was an agenda was at play. (Think the J.T. Chick interpretation of the great whore of Babylon)Whether I agree or not, I always find it interesting and fruitful to examine and understand viewpoints other than my own.
I have no desire to return to the IFB "Circle your Wagons" mindset.
This is just me though.
Welcome to Calvinism, btw.God can appoint who He wants to do whatever He wants. He didn't ask my permission.
Hate to burst your bubble but adherence to your brand of Calvinism is not a prerequisite for believing in God's sovereignty.Welcome to Calvinism, btw.![]()
