Why Donald Trump matters

I support slavery, and I'm happy to be a slave.

16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? 17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

After God changed my heart I love Him because He first loved me and consider my self a "bondservant" who willingly serves as opposed to one who serves against his will.  I won't argue with you though.

Well, that's the trick, isn't it?  Mention the word "slave" and it is assumed you are serving against your will.  But that is not always the case, and even slaves to men are encouraged to serve willingly and dutifully.

5 Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; 6 not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

I simply believe a "bondservant" is more descriptive of a Christian.  Exodus 21:5-7

bond·serv·ant
ˈbän(d)ˌsərvənt/
noun
a person bound in service without wages.
a slave or serf.

Calling yourself a slave for Christ is far, far different than saying one person should own another.

The Bible In Exodus describes a bond slave much differently than one who has no other choice.
When I read "Paul a slave" in Romans 1:1 in the HCSB it doesn't convey any difference between one forced to serve and a "servant" or "bondservant" found in practically all other translations.  I simply don't like that translation period.  End of story.

I'm just saying the biggest problem with the word "slave" isn't that it has a significantly different definition.  The problem is that it calls up images of some cruel white master whipping a poor black guy chained to a tree (despite the fact that many black people were slave owners, most of them were sold into slavery by black people, and not all owners were cruel).  Or insert whatever negative images of American slavery you might have instead.

"Bondservant" makes me think of a well-dressed British butler.  ;)

And you're nothing more than a heretic.

If trying to follow the teachings of Jesus a heretic makes, count me in. :)

You really have become an enemy of the Gospel!

Tell you what. Do you want to a formal debate in the apostleship of Paul? At least you're honest in your communication. That NUT Rasa just makes things up as he goes.

I'll be glad to have a discussion. Because of my schedule, I don't think I can get my point across in the debate forum in regular debate form but I have no issue with you starting a new thread on it and discussing it.

Funny thing is the "Gospel" you are referring to isn't the one that Jesus promoted in His recorded evangelistic endeavors, so enmity with the one you describe is of little consequence.
