World Famous Evangelist Caleb Garraway

Well, I just lost a lot of respect for him. I'm glad he's not "woke", but he has serious spiritual problems if he "idolizes" (your word) Jack Hyles.

Well he did preach at the Vatican (FBC Hammond) and he said it was one of his dreams. When you preach at FBC Hammond you're considered royalty in IFB. Who know Caleb may even take the reigns from Wilkerson some day or he may continue on as a world famous traveling evangelist as he and his wife have also made gospel records. He put Oklahoma Baptist College on the map. He's pulling America.

Okay, world famous Hyles-worshipping Caleb (who I never heard of until this thread) is "pulling America," but as Walt asked, what direction is he pulling us? Back to the 1960s? (Evidently not "Back to the Future)"

The web site IndependentBaptist.com has this statement: "IndependentBaptist.com has been founded in an attempt to bring back the principles that lifted our movement in the 60’s and 70’s and that need to be revived in this day. America needs great Independent Baptist churches again. The message is set. The cause is clear. But we need YOUR help to make this project successful! Will you join us?"

There are those who see the whole purpose and mandate of the IFB movement as pulling America back to the "standards" and worship styles of the 1960s and 1970s. That just might be a good idea, but how practical is it? Are today's Millennials and young people willing to go back to the world of the 1960s, and to adopt the dress codes, hair styles, music, Bible versions and bans on amusements of their grandparents? Is this policy working anywhere? Is it working at the Mother Church (FBC-Hammond) where attendance at the English division is said to have declined from 17,000 to less than 1,500?

"Is it working at the Mother Church (FBC-Hammond) where attendance at the English division is said to have declined from 17,000 to less than 1,500?"
Can you clarify your source of information, please? Granted, you honestly and openly stated that it is only something you heard, but the information would be helpful.

The less than 1500 figure comes from a post I saw a few years ago in the FFF Hyles-Anderson college forum. I will gladly stand corrected if someone can give us an accurate current figure for attendance and/or active membership there.

Yes Caleb does idolize Hyles just like idolizes the Vineyards. Caleb's main goal is to reach the young people of America. He's also a pretty songwriter as he's written songs for other IFB artists including Alvin Martinez. Caleb certainly isn't woke like some of his former IFB classmates. He doesn't promote Black Lives Matter and he certainly doesn't glorify George Floyd like Matt Chandler, John Piper, David Platt, and Loui Giglio do.

He's pulling America......2024 Campaign slogan.

I accept that he's not woke, but there are a lot of people who are not woke that are not spiritual.

As Tom Brennan said in his great message "30 Years an Independent Baptist..." (this is from memory and may not be exact)...
"The goal of the IFB movement has got to stop being to recover the 'glory years' of the 1960s and 1970s... the IFB movement will never be blessed of God until we make it goal to live holy lives and glorifying God. Most of the big 'successful' churches of that time are gone or shells of themselves today... why would we want to go back to THAT?"
We don't need to go back to the standards of the 1970s, or the 1960s, or the 1940s... we need to go back to Biblical standards. We need leaders who want to exalt God and His word instead of themselves... they want a lot of followers to feel good about themselves instead of viewing themselves as servants to God's flock. We need to abandon the idea of 'great churches' and 'great men' - we have a great God who uses men. We need to stop thinking that a big church is closer to God than a small church.
We need churches and leaders who will not worry is something is "practical", but whether it is Biblical. We need to run our churches to honor and glorify God, not to appeal to the masses. The Bible does give some clear teachings in areas that are not popular, and that's just too bad; we cannot adjust His timeless word just to appeal to people.

If Caleb G and Joel "Woke" McCarty had a debate it would be a no contest as Caleb would make his former fellow preacher boy turned soy boy who worships Biden cry. Caleb is pulling America while McCarty and THE Jesse Jackson (Stone) want to be Social Justice Warriors and worship criminals like George Floyd and Jacob Blake.

I accept that he's not woke, but there are a lot of people who are not woke that are not spiritual.
Well if you watched former OBC preacher boy turned soy boy liberal (Joel McCarty) sermons or race baiting videos you would see that Caleb is pulling America while McCarty/Platt/Chandler/Piper/Jakes/Hellsong/THE Jesse Jackson (Stone)/Racist fake Christian Jesse "Shoeshine" Jackson/LeBron James/NBA/NFL/Major League Baseball/Hollywood are forcing America to embrace critical race theory and hate white people.

Caleb G is Pulling America!

But you keep stating things that show he is not woke; while that is fine, it doesn't make him spiritual... plenty of people are trying to pull America one way or the other. I accept that he's not woke... but merely pulling America away from wokeness is not spiritual in and of itself.

The fact that he remained loyal to the IFB movement and the Vineyards while McCarty and Jackson decided to become liberal soy boy Biden worshiping, flag burning, black criminal defenders, and worshipers of George Floyd says something. It's rare to find a young person these days that has the spirit of Elijah and a desire to Pull America like Caleb G.

Again, you claim that he has remained loyal to the IFB movement -- the IFB movement has a lot to answer for; how about his loyalty to Jesus Christ, or to the Word of God? In those areas where the IFB movement has departed from the Scriptures, will he be true to the Scriptures and denounce the IFB movement? Or is he going to make the IFB movement the object of his worship?

Check out World Famous Caleb's sermons online. He knows his Bible and preaches it hard and has a passion for the young people. Can't say the same for his former mate Joel McCarty the marxist who worships Joe Biden and George Floyd. But McCarty is a megachurch pastor and preaches what the masses want while Caleb preaches from the Bible and preaches hard against sin which is something you won't hear in a seeker sensitive megachurch.

Unlike Joel McCarty and THE Jesse Jackson (Stone) Caleb stands tall for America and for God. You won't see him burning American flags, worshiping Joe Biden, Antifa, or BLM like the soy boys McCarty and Jackson (Stone) are. Caleb is pulling America.

Another great sermon from World Famous evangelist, IFB recording artist, Caleb Garraway. He's "Pulling America".

Won't be long before Caleb get's on Fox news and gains a larger audience then with the help of Ted Nugent and Geraldo Rivera he could really "Pull America".

Caleb became World Famous and preaching the gospel and even recorded some IFB gospel records. Mrs. Garraway does session work on the old pie-anna and Caleb does the background vocals on many IFB records. Meanwhile Joel McCarty and THE Jesse Jackson (Stone) are snowflakes who worship Joe Biden and George Floyd. McCarty is going to do a sermon series on how he learned from jackoff Greg Popovich that white people should be ashamed of being white and burn American flags. Also Jesse is trying to emulate bodybuilders while Caleb is "Pulling America" and defending the gospel.

While the NBA, NFL, ESPN, and Critical Race Theory Churches are wanting to kill white people and burn American flags, Bro. Caleb under the Holy Spirit has a different view. Yes he still stands strong by the IFB convictions and his mentors Jim & Tom Vineyard, and of course his biggest idol Jack Hyles. He's really "Pulling America" and has a passion for young people to get away from cancel culture and feminism. Sadly two of his fellow former preacher boys (Joel McCarty & THE Jesse (Stone) Jackson) have become anti-American snowflake liberals who worship George Floyd and want to help Matt Chandler, John Piper, David Platt, and Louie Giglio burn American flags and promote Critical Race Theory. While McCarty and Jackson are soyboy snowflakes, the OBC legacy of the Vineyards lives on through Caleb Garraway who's "Pulling America".
