Yes, yes, I know, Chris Christie, Paul Ryan and all the other Republicans who have criticized Trump are just RINOs and bad people, and we shouldn't listen to them. Instead, we should continue to let the public face of the Republican Party be people like Trump, Kanye West, Mike Lindell, etc. so we can really lose big in 2024. (Yeah, let's turn that election into a "pillow fight)!"

Seriously, I wonder, just how bad do Trump's antics have to become, before we as Republicans, conservatives and fundamentalist Christians finally decide to disassociate ourselves from Trump, before we lose all credibility with the American people.

I have to say I disassociated myself from Trump when he showed the attitude he did during the "peaceful" transition of power from one POTUS to another. He acted like a spoiled, pissed-off child (even though I don't believe Biden got the highest number of votes in American history) who wanted to prove something he knew he wasn't going to have any way to prove conclusively. He has little or no character, and I couldn't then, nor can I now, ever think to vote for him again.

Sorry, but, YES it DOES matter very much. If he gets the nomination I for one won't be voting for him again. Call it a vote thrown away if you wish, but, I have a conscience and vote not just for principles as FSSL would like to try and steamroll onto everyone's thoughts, but character as well. He IS a character, but he HAS none.

Then why have you voted for anyone? EVERY candidate for President we have ever had had serious character flaws.

The devil you aren't. No person involved in the political arena is perfect, and I know this well having been involved, and still being involved in politics. Even having a sister running for mayor of the town we grew up in as children, and already serving as Mayor Pro Tem. I once was on target to run for City Council in that town back in 1994. But, knowing I was moving, I withdrew. Had I been able to gain enough financing to run for mayor of the same town there, I would have. I've considered running for office here where I am, but, I don't want to waste my time when I'm considering moving back home to Georgia. I vote for the person who has fewer character flaws and shows more integrity, and that AIN'T Trump...period....and THAT IS THE FACT.

Not really. He could vote 3rd party. Many do and statistically, it usually hurts Democrats more than Republicans.

there is only one time i know of in the last 50 years when a 3rd party candidate hurt democrats in a presidential race.....(at least according to what my dad tells me.. he has been voting since 1976...).... . and that was when john anderson ran as an independant against ronald reagan and jimmy carter in 1980... but in the second match up between reagan and carter no 3rd party made the national ballot.. and it didn;t matter anyway... reagan won by a landslide based on his record alone....

but in 1992 ross perot made it very clear he was running for no other reason than to help clinton win.... and he did.... ross perot split the conservative vote and clinton won.... .. then perot bragged about being willing to do it again in 1996 if it looked like clinton might lose....

I remember his inconsistent butt well! Blaming Republicans saying they "kidnapped" his daughter, or had threatened to. All he wanted to do was throw the vote, and it showed in his financial statements later on. He profited quite a bit in the terms of cash.

Never said it didn't, eKKK. Facts? Facts are that YOU can't handle people disagreeing with you...period. It's your site, so you do whatever you want...that's fine. But, I'll voice my disagreement, especially when you're wrong. Numbers may win an election, but if you win with a loser in the character department, a freakin' narcissist, then you've lost already. He'll screw you in the end, just like he did when he said he'd have HRC prosecuted and jailed...just like he did when he said he'd take care of the swamp. Seems like the swamp is taking care of him!
