Since I was first moderator on the scene, I immediately deleted the offending posts and informed Muckah that such behavior is not allowed. His response to me was another profanity laced tirade so I deleted both message and messenger. 😔

I really was believing it was a sockie of someone here, created to drum up business….guess that was a swing and miss.

I'm thinking he was genuine. The way he backed up his position, though flawed, seemed organized. I thought we'd have some epic discussions until you and others cornered him and he lost it. It was as though he just snapped. I was hoping (against hope) he'd settle down and continue to debate but when he answered my warning with an f bomb directly aimed at me, I knew it was time to show him the door. He suggested things we could do with ourselves due to the fact that we were a bunch of [freaked out] "fundie-calvies". I can't imagine why someone operating as a sock puppet would off himself so suddenly and violently. He had to have known what that would get him.

It waddn't me . . . and I'm sure it wasn't a JW either. Some of the kindest and most polite people I know are Jehovah's Witnesses.

Nah, Gringo, I never suspected it was you for a minute. I *did* start to make a joke early in the conversation to the effect "Smellin, is that you?", lol. But no, I don't think it was Smellin' either. Doesn't really matter who it was, just unfortunate that he resorted to tactics that demanded he be removed, rather than having substantive conversation. 🤷‍♂️

Hugh, it turned out, was the right hand man to Johnny Mac (Phil Johnson). Those were some pretty epic days on the forum.

Just got done listening to a recent sermon of his where he expounded a passage that was instrumental in me stepping out of IFB (I use the term very loosely) thought.
