And staying with the humorous theme....

Trump Accomplishments in His First Year

1. Most Days Vacationing

2. Most Games of Golf Played

3. Least Amount of Bills Signed

4. Lowest Approval Rating

5. Most Proven Lies Told

6. Most Cabinet Firings/Resignations

I wish he hadn't fixed global warming quite this well. It's stooopid cold.

Trump has also for all intents and purposes gutted Obummercare.
And, he's STILL President!

I thought we were all going to die if that happened..

Oh, that was net neutrality...

Or if Trump was selected..

Who said we were all going to die?

Actually a Republican President with a Republican House and a Republican Senate could not repeal the Affordable Care Act.

According to a Google search on "ACA people will die," the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, the New Republic, Slate, the Huffington Post, Bernie Sanders, Tom Perez...

Which does make all the leftard panic about "people will die" both laughable and mendacious, doesn't it?

Please don?t bring up facts in your discussions with Goner....or tell him Hyles did a number on him. He is the father of denial.

Twitter is Trump's laser pointer and the socialist liberal democrats are his own personal 'herd of cats'.

There is a huge difference of saying "we will all die" and saying "people will die". Common sense dictates that people with health insurance have a greater chance of living longer than people who do not have health insurance. I have health insurance so I am able to get preventive care and issues are discovered sooner. This enhances my chances of living longer.
Which does make all the leftard panic about "people will die" both laughable and mendacious, doesn't it?

Tarheel...you don't know me. There is no way that you can determine if Hyles did a number on me.

Speaking of denial. Do you want to deny that Trump said during the campaign that he had a health plan that would cover everyone and cost both the government and the members less than Obamacare. Have yet to see that plan.

Also please show me where I haven't shared facts. You may not agree with the conclusions but I have consistently tried to present facts.

Nice pithy statement without any basis in reality. Many Republicans with common sense know that twitter hurts Trump more than it helps him.

I don?t know you Goner, but have little doubt that your experience at Hyles impacted what you believe today. I have stated that in my anecdotal experience on the fff and in other online groups that an inordinate number of Hyles alumni are bitter at their experience there and many others hold nutjob beliefs...there are a few on the fff. I would not place you in either of those groups, FWIW.

I don?t deny anything nor do I feel compelled to defend Trump...but his job performance is stellar compared to Obama or Hillary.

The facts I referenced were the ones Ransom cited in his post rebutting yours about liberal hysteria about Obummercare.

There are six  Republicans that need to register as democrats. Its sad we cant all work together but hey at least we have a president that loves and respects police/military.

Indeed. I searched on what was actually said, instead of the hyperbolic parody version.

And here you are admitting you can't tell the difference between the Democrats' actual rhetoric and the parody! LOL!

After a year in office, ISIS is on the decline and Iran is in rebellion. And the world knows they have someone they better tread softly with, if for no other reason, because he's unpredictable. I hope he survives another year.

I don't know you Tarheel but have no doubt your experience at Liberty impacted what you believe today.

All of us are impacted by the things that we have experienced in life. Without Liberty you may not be a fan of Limbaugh, Hannity and Breithbart in that puzzling but adorable way that you are ;) Where I have an issue is your claim that Hyles did a number on me. I attend an Anglican church. The Anglican Church statement of faith is clear that they believe that salvation is by faith through grace and not of works. I worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 28 years. I worked for both Republican and Democratic administrations. That has shaped my political views far more than my years at HAC.

This started off with you stating that Hyles had done a number on Smellin. I assume you really don't know Smellin either. You may make generalizations about former HAC students based on your anecdotal stories but then applying your generalizations to people you don't know is at best presumptuous on your part. I don't agree with Smellin on his doctrine. It does appear to me that to decide that a doctrine that Smellin embraced about 35 years after he left FBCH is because Hyles did a number on him is absurd.

I am not sure how you define nut job beliefs. A nut job belief to me is somebody who believes they can raise the dead and heal the sick. I would not view Smellin's doctrinal views any different that I would Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah Witness or Scientology. These are religious views that I do not agree with but it doesn't make the holders of these beliefs nut jobs. If Smellin had decided to become a Catholic at age 55 I would hardly blame that on Hyles.

At times it appears that you tell Smellin that Hyles did a number on him because it is easier than making a coherent argument about why Smellin is wrong.

I will agree with you that there are a few people bitter about Hyles. Unless you were sexually molested or a similar traumatic event and you are still bitter about what happen in college then my guess is that you brought a ton of baggage that you have never dealt with prior to HAC. The vast majority of us remember the good and laugh at the bad. Even when we discuss the bad it is not out of bitterness but how we perceived the experience.

As far as nut jobs...it doesn't surprise me for an example that a Stephen Anderson was drawn to HAC but you must admit he and others like him would have been a nut job with or without HAC.

I understand why a fascist alt-right Republican (that is the opposite of a socialist liberal democrat) would be happy with the things that Trump has accomplished such as Supreme Court pick, tax cut without a way to pay for it, and some of the deregulation. Calling a crass, womanizing, loose with the truth President stellar is really a stretch. Obama was not perfect and you may not have liked his policy but the decorum he brought to the office is missing in this administration. Hillary had a lot of baggage and has not handled losing well but it is hard to see her being less presidential than Trump.

Now to the fact issue. You did not say Goner didn't like Ransom's fact but what you said is "Please don't bring up facts in your discussions with Goner".  Any reasonable person would take that to mean that I don't use or don't like facts. The ironic part is that I responded asking "Who said we were all going to die". I wanted the fact which I knew wasn't we were all going to die. So whether you want to call it a parody like Ransom or an exaggeration or intent to be loose with the truth it was the actual fact I was going after.

...tax cut without a way to pay for it,

a great response but I'll nitpick this one part.

Of course there is a way to pay for it.

Cut spending.

Just because they won't do it doesn't mean there's not a way.

We certainly are affected by out past life experience...good or bad. It just appears to me that Hyles/Hammond has had a tremendous negative influence on a vast number of past alumni. And this is purely anecdotal, based on my personal experience. I have NO doubt but that what they experienced in the extreme Xer wing if Fundamentalism helped shape their heretical belief system. And I refer to nutjob beliefs as heretical beliefs...illustrated by 70, Smellin and Hooper....right here on the FFF. Heresy, apostasy, Gnosticism not to mention the socialist liberal democrat political beliefs ?...

I have also, over a period of decades been extremely politically active, and I have also worked on Democrat campaigns, but that was a long time ago before socialism became part of the democrat platform. Trump is President of me, you, Smellin and the rest of the US! And his policies are having a positive effect on the economy and other areas of gubmit policy.

And if I had the choice of him, Obama or Hillary tomorrow I?d STILL vote Trump. Admittedly that?s not much of a choice, but the horrible democrat candidate and policy presented as an alternative is why he?s Prez.

You continue to argue semantics and Ransom continues to give you facts...yet you continually respond to me and not him....
