So when The Scriptures say that when a man's ways please God, that God will make his enemies be at peace with him? You don't believe in God? You don't trust in Him to provide the protection for our country? So, who is being "bewy bewy afwaid?"
It's funny, all along on this site, I was labeled antinomian, when all along it was others here who are the real antinomians.
Don't put your trust in chariots or horses brothers......

Its vewy, vewy afwaid....get it right!
And that's what Smellin is...you are a CR!
Don't put your trust in Rushdooney, either.
I put my trust in the entire council of God, I don't pick and choose, especially when your god of this world says different!
Psalm 2 1 Why do the nations conspire[a]
    and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
    and the rulers band together
    against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 ?Let us break their chains
    and throw off their shackles.?
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
    the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
    and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 ?I have installed my king
    on Zion, my holy mountain.?
7 I will proclaim the Lord?s decree:

He said to me, ?You are my son;
    today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
    and I will make the nations your inheritance,
    the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron;
    you will dash them to pieces like pottery.?
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
    be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
    and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
    and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
    Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
Psalm 72 1 Endow the king with your justice, O God,
    the royal son with your righteousness.
2 May he judge your people in righteousness,
    your afflicted ones with justice.
3 May the mountains bring prosperity to the people,
    the hills the fruit of righteousness.
4 May he defend the afflicted among the people
    and save the children of the needy;
    may he crush the oppressor.
5 May he endure[a] as long as the sun,
    as long as the moon, through all generations.
6 May he be like rain falling on a mown field,
    like showers watering the earth.
7 In his days may the righteous flourish
    and prosperity abound till the moon is no more.
8 May he rule from sea to sea
    and from the River to the ends of the earth.
9 May the desert tribes bow before him
    and his enemies lick the dust.
10 May the kings of Tarshish and of distant shores
    bring tribute to him.
May the kings of Sheba and Seba
    present him gifts.
11 May all kings bow down to him
    and all nations serve him.
12 For he will deliver the needy who cry out,
    the afflicted who have no one to help.
13 He will take pity on the weak and the needy
    and save the needy from death.
14 He will rescue them from oppression and violence,
    for precious is their blood in his sight.
15 Long may he live!
    May gold from Sheba be given him.
May people ever pray for him
    and bless him all day long.
16 May grain abound throughout the land;
    on the tops of the hills may it sway.
May the crops flourish like Lebanon
    and thrive[c] like the grass of the field.
17 May his name endure forever;
    may it continue as long as the sun.
Then all nations will be blessed through him,[d]
    and they will call him blessed.
18 Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel,
    who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 Praise be to his glorious name forever;
    may the whole earth be filled with his glory.
Amen and Amen.

Exodus 21:
7 ?When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. 8 If she does not satisfy her owner, he must allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. 9 But if the slave?s owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave but as a daughter.

The man who can barely complete a post without using the words "liberal socialist democrat" is accusing other people of never meeting a liberal stereotype they didn't repeat. The man who sends Russ Limbaugh money and actually tells somebody is accusing other people of never meeting a liberal stereotype they didn't repeat. The man who loves to post articles from right wing publications is accusing other people of never meeting a liberal stereotype they didn't repeat. The man who post articles that he thinks makes "liberal stupid" is accusing other people of never meeting a liberal stereotype they didn't repeat.

A little like if Trump accused Obama of being a womanizer :D

The sad thing about this is that he actually pastors a church! Can you believe that? There are sheep who actually listen to this "man" spout this filth from the pulpit. I can only imagine what happens in that pulpit on Sunday morning.
People wonder why the church is such a joke right now, pastors who have sold their soul to the Beast. Yahweh isn't his God, he serves the god of this world. He doesn't bow to Mecca, he bows to D.C.

Do you understand the concubinage laws? Because that's what that verse is talking about

I'm certainly not to your level of spirituality or intellect, but I have obtained a systematic theology and a hermeneutic in my life experience. I'm not a Rushdooneyite. Im not working to build the  kingdom, He is...

I don't have more than one wife, own slaves, stone homosexuals or give my property back to its original owner every 50th year. Neither do you.

If you have been following along......
1) I've never read Rushdooney......
2) Understand the position before you comment on it, it makes you look foolish. I know Faux new's theology department is lacking but c'mon. Use common sense!

Btw, it was Roderick Campbell and Bahnsen that won me over.....

Its akin to saying "I am a Dispensationalist but never read Chafer, Ryrie won me over."

It is called a "distinction without a difference." Your unfamiliarity with Rushdoony does not help you escape the Theonomy/Reconstructionist position. Especially, since you make the same exact points.

Nope. That isn't my argument at all. My point is those who would claim to want a theocractic form of government are going about it the wrong way.

What's the right (presumably liberal and Democratic) way of wanting a theocratic government?

First off, your presumption is incorrect. :)

Secondly, I don't want a theocracy here on earth. My argument is with those who believe MAGA is a euphemism of "bringing America back to God" as well as politicians who claim "God's will for the good of the country" when Republicans win the election. There are Republicans who are conservative because that is their worldview and don't bring God into it. I might disagree with them in some points, but at least they aren't trying to spiritualize it. But when birth control being eliminated from sex education and health programs because of its sinfulness, or gay couples are not allowed to share familial benefits because of religious belief that homosexuality is sinful, I would consider that "spiritualizing".

Thirdly, in the election, I wrote in a Republican primary candidate on the November election ballot, and I have NEVER voted for a Democratic presidential candidate. So despite what you think, I'm not a puppet of the Democratic party.

Fourthly, "what's the right way..."? I don't know. I don't know anything about how to give my car engine a tune up, but I know if my mechanic starts hacking at it with an axe, he's doing it wrong. ;)

You indicated to me on another thread that you had read some Rushdooney, but never North.
But either way you parrot his C.R. beliefs.
And common sense doesn't seem to be very common with you.

You keep trying to link me with dispys, which shows your ignorance. Like I said to TB, educate your self before making comments.  And you should also know that writhing groups, there are always subgroups that are different.
But I don't see a difference here within people not trusting/obeying Scripture rather than looking to the Beast for "protection" from the "enemies". Looks like you guys are bewy bewy afwaid.

When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

But yet here you guys sit here and worry yourselves over immigration...When you send out missionaries and God brings them to your front door...you send them away, Why? they might be tewwawist!! :o
then, the funny thing is, do you try and reconcile this through Scripture? Of course not!! What can Caeser do for us?? How Can Caesar save us from the dark skinned people sneaking into our country, because we have no king but Caesar!!
