I attended the one in which Dr. Hyles constantly told the maintenance guy how to set the thermostats.
Oh, and who could forget the one where we took a special offering!
And that was the same year that women were allowed to preach. Or at least some insecure pastors said.
That same year Dr. Hyles told the ushers to hurry up and get things passed out.
Mrs. Hyles sat in the the front row of the choir!
