What about a man that is unknown, works a secular job and pastors? These men are educated, faithful and hard working.

I agree but will someone unknown as you say be effective as a recruiter for the college.
It appears that is one of the major roles of the president.

Within the IFB world, whether right or wrong, the size of your church matters.

So you would like more of the same?

Today HAC said goodbye to President Mason. Got to congratulate him for stearing the ship these past years.

So Hacker nation, who should the new president be.

As Raider would say 1 per post

Does anyone have a serious nomination and why you think he would do a good job.
I'll say what I said about anyone who wanted JS's job.

I question the mindset of anyone wanting that job at that place.

I guess if that's your world, the only church world you know, then maybe....... :-\

How about Daryl Whitehouse?  He grew up in Hammond.  I believe he currently works for Brother Fugate.

How about Trump?

Instead of saying, "You're fired!" he could say, "You're a Hacker!!"

I was going to write Allen Domelle as kind of a joke. He announced that he will be the new president of Texas Baptist college or whatever they call it now.

I think it's now  I B S.
(And it still makes me think of  gastroenterological problems.)

What about Dan Burrell?

Do I know him?

(Because a pre-requisite to his being considered as president would definitely be whether I know him or not. :D)

I think he was gone when we got there. (Raider is older than us.)

But, he was the principal at Berean in West Palm Beach, FL for years.  I interviewed with him, but did not go there.

There are members here that know him well, having worked with him or live in the area.

Serious suggestion.

Jimmy Blalock.  He's a graduate from the late 70's/early 80's.

Has a tremendous ministry and has been consistent for years.

One perk we could use to entice him would be a 200,000.00 office, boy is it nice.

It is not nice enough to keep a guy though.

Bob Gray Sr.
