Nobody, from what I have read, has identified himself as unsaved. This makes you a liar and a false prophet, not that I beleived you to be a prophet to begin with.

Balaam, I'm glad you brought up your issues with Preeble, because I've been wanting to talk about that.

A few years ago, a character named Preeble wrote on another FFF about the violent gangs that Jim Vineyard had at the beginning of HAC. Balaam was not a student at the time and wouldn't know anything about it, but he began attacking Preeble, without provocation, over the stories.

Now, I was already a big believer in Romans 2:1, and I watched in amazement as Balaam raged that Preeble was mentally ill and stupid, and Preeble replied by quoting "Thou that judgtst doest the same things." KNOWING that Preeble would do this, Balaam continued to post his own sins, where they could be documented, as he continued to accuse someone he didn't know and had never met.

Balaam defended his behavior more than once by explaining that Preeble's posts made him angry. That was it. That was Balaam's defense for disobeying God's commands to live at peace with the brethren. Balaam was angry about something he knew nothing about and which did not concern him.

For the record, I worked at the Chicago UPS and can verify that Preeble's stories about the Roadway Gang there were true. I did not see the events that occurred at the Hammond UPS and other places.

Vince, you noodlehead! Preeble was also looking for 'victims of hac'. He said his mission was to help victims of hac and that he had helped several. Just like you. And besides that I seriously doubt that there can be another as imbecilic as you.

When I taught Christian school, we had a small number of parents who were determined liars, and who taught their children to be liars like themselves. They would get into an argument with a teacher, and then both parents and the child would pour out lies about how rude the teacher had been. They would shout out their lies as fast as their tongues could spit them out, and then go home to their telephones to spread their lies some more.

What they did not realize:
1) Everybody knew they were lying. The pastor, the school board, the deacons, etc. That's why none of the teachers ever got fired over it.
2) The people who listened to them on the phone knew they were liars. That's why one of them pulled their children out of the school.
3) The other liars knew they were liars, but the other liars respected them for it. No one else respected them.
4) But nobody told them.

Now Balaam, on this forum, the scorners are posting accusations that can be documented to be false. That makes them a lot easier than the lying parents I had to deal with.

1) The readers know that the scorners are nothing but scorners. That's why they return to learn more about how to get God's blessings.
2) Nobody respects the scorners except the scorners.
3) The scorners respect the scorners for their ungodliness--nobody respects the scorners for Godliness.
4) I am telling the scorners--God scorns you, He doesn't answer your prayers, and He doesn't bless you with success. And God is blessing me for presenting His Word.

That's why people are continuing to learn how to get God's blessings on this thread.

Balaam, I'm telling you, the resemblance between you and my friend Jim is fantastic!

Now, Brother, you've posted insults about me being a knucklehead and a pinhead because I got reconciled to Jim. Romans 2:1 tells us that you are describing yourself, and other Scripture states that as a scorner, you have no wisdom. But let me explain.

Jesus said that our discipleship is known by our love for one another, not by our achieving justice or holding justified grudges. We are told "Above all things have fervent charity among yourselves." Having fervent charity with the brethren is more important than protecting myself, obtaining what is rightfully mine, or protecting my rights.

Explaining how God got me and Jim reconciled has driven you into madness in the past. Another poor fellow was overwhelmed with grief and pain. But reconciliation among the saints is one of God's goals. And I am not suffering emotional pain over the wrongs Jim did to me at HAC (or at OBC, for that matter).

As He promises, God has taken revenge on a man who destroyed the testimony and ministries of Godly saints, and Jim Vineyard will probably pass from the scene in disgrace. I'm grateful to the Lord for settling the matter. This allows me to move on to effective service for the Lord.

Sorry about the delay in answering, Bruh. I've been writing a series on how to receive God's blessings of success in His work. If I thought that I was succeeding because I was great, I would be wrong. But if I believe that I am succeeding because God is blessing me, that would be different.

I have a very strong attachment to God's Word (I'm the only poster who believes Romans 2:1). Psalm 1 promises that because of this attachment, whatever I do will prosper. Joshua 1:8 explains that I will have good success because of that attachment.

From God's Word I have learned other ways to receive God's blessing of success. These include submission to authority, which produces humility, which produces grace, which produces success in God's work.

The Scriptures teach us that God has given every one of us at least one spiritual gift for the edification of the church.

The Scriptures tell us how to receive wisdom, which is profitable to direct and which opens others virtues. The fear of the Lord, obedience, and abiding in Him also produce success, as does answered prayer.

The scorners do well to be enraged at this thread. Except for spiritual gifts, none of these promises are available to them.

Proverbs 22:4 contains a promise that sounds worldly "By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life."

When I was a t HAC, many of us were employed at the Chicago UPS. The local Communist party (a handful of crackpots) would give out literature. One article blasted us for taking jobs away from others, while stating that God does not answer prayer. Reading it from the pulpit, Brother Hyles pointed out that if God didn't answer prayer, the HAC students wouldn't have those good-paying jobs.

After ten years of teaching in Christian schools, I was able to get a high-paying job at a paper mill. Leaders at the church, as well as the teachers and others, believed that I had a high-paying, cushy job (which was true about half the time), and it was a cause of concern among our critics.

In his book "Prayer, Asking and Receiving," John R. Rice actually rebuked Christians who did not have good jobs, because their Heavenly Father had the resources to bless them, and they weren't claiming His care.

Readers, God really does take care of those who fear the Lord.

Thank you, Bruh. However, I'm afraid that it's God, not me. He has given me a burden to help victims of HAC, and the scorners are fighting His work. however, the hit count for this thread shows that they are not succeeding.

Or... there is the possibility that a scorner and accuser of the brethren is preaching a wealth gospel. Too bad the Apostle Paul did not have the "wisdom" found in this thread to enjoy a good paying job and have his affliction removed after praying unceasingly.

Another great day to praise the Lord! One hour before we began picking up the kids for the Neighborhood Bible Study, we had to cancel. I frantically got hold of a local soul-winning pastor, and we were able to hold the Bible Study in his building. His wife gave a good lesson, and God gave us 27 kids!
