Mike Pence, once again, breaks a tie vote... this time... to defund Planned Parenthood!

My memory is a little shady, but if I recall Reagan had fully planned on selecting his bitter enemy an adversary in the race for the Republican nomination for president. It was in the last few days before the convention, when Reagan and Ford could not agree on cabinet picks and other policy, that Reagan sought another choice.Baptist City Holdout said:Pence is one of Trump's best choices and Bush was one of Reagan's worse. The Bushes are nice people, but Reagan could have picked a much more conservative for VP and had no problem willing.
1. Joseph served as an advisor to Potiphar and several Pharaohs (God would use him greatly).Smellin Coffee said:A little off topic, but I think the liberals need to get off Pence's back about his not meeting with other women, as long as he holds to his conviction. Where I disagree with him is this: despite his personal conviction in this area, he is willing to sacrifice histestimonyreputation by being the cohort of an admitted, braggadocios and unrepentant sexual predator.

Just as Eve added to the "rule" about the forbidden fruit the author adds to the "rule" that Mr. and Mrs. Pence have made for themselves. She claims that: "she?s also literally the only woman he?s allowed to talk to in many common social situations." which gives Mrs. Pence inordinate influence over her husband and his thinking.

Mike Pence sets boundaries in his interaction with other women that respect his wife and the exclusive relationship with her he vowed to keep. For this he is called a creep, a sexist, a rape-culture apologist, and other things.
The left is genuinely perverted.

I will agree that this issue gets magnified by the fact the Pence is a conservative. He has the right to do whatever he wants but don't be surprised when a man who call his wife "mother" in public meetings and can't meet one on one for lunch in a public place to discuss is seen as odd. Most married people in the working world have interactions with the opposite sex in appropriate situations without disrespecting or cheating on their spouse. Maybe I have been tainted by pastors who have screamed this is the right way to live but were getting extra action on the side themselves. I don't think people who question the choice that Pence has made have to be perverted.

Exactly. And when one who openly holds to Pence's stance candidates as a moral issue, supports and aligns himself with a confessed sexual predator, he opens himself up to that extra bit of ridicule for his hypocrisy. Not saying the scorn is deserved, but he opened it up on himself.
I agree with you here but remember Anthony Kennedy and Sandra Day O'Connor were very conservative at the time they were appointed. They drifted farther and farther to the left the longer they were on the bench.TheRealJonStewart said:Ya just like Reagan could have picked a more conservative for Supreme Court?Baptist City Holdout said:Pence is one of Trump's best choices and Bush was one of Reagan's worse. Quite true, if by "anyone" you mean Anita Broaddrick.
Speaking of perverse, how about the way the Left excoriates Donald Trump for lewd remarks while excusing an actual rapist?

Not saying Clinton wasn't predatory as there appear to be victims out there, it's just he didn't admit to doing such a thing, much less brag about it.
On Friday night, February 19, 1999, Clinton's attorney, David Kendall, denied the allegations on Clinton's behalf. Kendall stated: "Any allegation that the president assaulted Mrs. Broaddrick more than 20 years ago is absolutely false. Beyond that, we're not going to comment."
President Clinton himself did not say anything on the matter. When asked about Broaddrick's claims at a news conference on February 24, 1999, Clinton said: "Well, my counsel has made a statement about the ... issue, and I have nothing to add to it."
