I went to Universal Studios with some of the kids yesterday for one of their birthdays. Her grandfather works there and graciously got us all in.

While there I came across this place in Diagon Alley:



I didn't go in because I figured she was the cousin to Daisey Dukes and she too would be dressed in the attire of a harlot.

I am thinking of one physically massive Man-O-God who rails against women wearing pants, likening them to two pigs in a sack, yet he himself is the poster boy of the Dukes of Hazzard, he is a Boss Hogg and the very epitome of a Pharisaical Hypocrite, a "whited sepulchre".

after looking up "daisy dukes" online  - and being led to everything from the dukes of hazard
tv show to sermons preached against women wearing shorts by pastors who latched onto
that name and ran with it ...... ... i learned something..... and i also have a few questions..... ???

being based on out of control rednecks living near a town with a corrupt mayor..... the tv show
dukes of hazard did indeed display, and even glamorized, a plethora of sins and questionable practices.....

but why are the shorts made famous by the character daisy duke the only thing fundamental baptist
preachers picked up on about that show ... to make a major issue over?.... ???

was it an effort to draw attention away from some of the bigger sins depicted in that show?





with all the condemnations and negative references to girls wearing daisy dukes shorts.......
why have we never heard any condemnations of men eating like boss hoggs?........  ???.......

I think wimmins running attire should be in coulottes or long, ankle length denim skirts.

Here is a pic of the guy that has no respect for women. He has burner sermons on pigs in a sack referring to women in pants.

He is the same proud arrogant obnoxious loud overbearing brute that we endured  when he was in HAC, yes he inflicted us at FBCH as well.

I understand he sat in the crazy section during HAC chapel.

He's the guy with the triple chin and the quadruple stomach, the one that looks half dead.

Look at all the zombie like servile sycophants sitting there looking like they are bored out of their minds.

He couldn't pass a HAC hair check now for sure.

How would you like that guy for your pastor?

Oh did I mention he calls himself doctor, it's a faux doc, not real.

If he were to preach a sermon on gluttony his audience would pass out in shock.

Well if Boss Hogg saw those dear ladies he would surely call them out and accuse them of being wicked hussy harlots.

They are every bit as pure as his new wife.....maybe more so.

It's the wicked lustful men that can not control their gluttonous appetites or their lustful imaginations that bear the responsibility for their own faults.

Rather than blaming the women they need to clean up their own thinking.

A Holy Spirit filled mind will not have wicked thoughts.

Christian men are to view sisters in Christ not as objects of lust and desire but as fellow members of the family of God.

Joint heirs with Christ.

i would never go to a church with a pastor like that......
to me that is someone who would have absolutely no redeeming qualities ......
..... it;s hard to even count the number of reasons we wouldn;t get along.......


and because of what;s shown in the picture below....
i wouldn;t even be able to respect him as a bowhunter.....

of course... i might be able to overlook it.... and i could even overlook
his weight and triple chin and beer gut if it wasn;t for his abusive
attitude towards women .... ... but all that combined with the fact he
hunts with a compound bow makes him not only a bully and a hypocrite
.. in my eyes... but also a horrendous compromiser....... .. it;s no mistake
the word compromise and compound bow both start with the same 4 letters....  ...

if he really wanted to prove his superior manliness he would have hunted that buffalo with
a traditional longbow or a recurve.... not a compound .....  8) .....

You have been hanging around the ifb's on the forum too long. The theology is starting to rub off on you. ;D

ok.... so where is the link to the article written by a baptist preacher who used to be a glutton....  but has now decided to change the eating habits that were giving him bad testimony and setting a bad example for other christians?....

or how about a video of a sermon preached by a baptist preacher on the evils of gluttony?........  .... are there any out there?........... ... serious question......  if there are.. i wonder why nobody here has ever posted them?...... ??? ......
