The problem certainly didn?t begin at Golden State but the Pastor in the video, who Pastors the church where the abuse took place, made it a Golden State issue by calling them our on their shuck and jive method of handling the issue.
At this point, it actually IS a Golden State issue. 

How?  He doesn't work there anymore.

We can all agree or disagree on how GSBC handled this event, but that's just a sideshow.  Get over it and move on.

Using your logic, it's the same as a murder taking place in a JC Penney, and JC Penney didn't call the cops fast enough.  So now we hold JC Penney accountable for the murder.

I'm sure others can come up with a better analogy.

The show is now pointed back to Maryland.  Will it go to a grand jury?  Will charges be filed?  Are there other victims?

Will Mr. Giovani be looking at 10 years in the slammer?

One of your assistant pastors stood up before the congregation one morning and lied, defended, made excuses and provision for the eventual return of your pastor who was caught having an affair with a16 year old parishioner who was seeing him for "counseling". So let's start with that one.

North Valley and Golden State are wrong in what they have done, but ironically, you still attend a church where this was... and is the norm. Always interesting to see that some things never change.

Until FBCH addresses their pastoral staff and Bible teachers that sat under the perversion that was taught and allowed, their folks should probably exercise caution before throwing stones at another ministry.

Can you please tell me what was said by this individual and the name of the individual.

I was on a job in NYC on that weekend and did not know about it.

When I did return there was no recap given and we were voting to terminate his membership.

The whole thing is rather a blur.

All recordings were wiped.

The coverup and spin were at full speed ahead.

The fixer had already been there when I returned the following weekend.

I was not present and left FBCH/HAC years before; and as you said, all the audio/video has been removed....but there are several first-hand accounts that have posted here, have told me personally (family friends, and former co-workers, that still attend or had attended FBCH), so surely you know someone there that can tell you first-hand what was said.

No, the inconvenient material was deleted. I have looked several times through all the archives. Nothing found.

Whoever it was that gave that presentation did not speak for the Board and gave his own opinion only.

You might say he was way out in front of his skis.

He did not know all that had happened. It took a few days for the full gravity of the crime to come out.

He was speaking before he knew the whole story.

At this point, Trieber had little choice.

I guess I'm missing something here... GSBC has a history of letting people go who haven't followed their rules of ministry.  The guy prior to this latest one was fired (or allowed to resign) because he hadn't alerted them to Mike Zachary.

And this last guy was fired ('scuse me, "resigned") because accusations surfaced?  This doesn't seem like sufficient cause to let someone go.  Thus, I think that I've missed something - is there evidence to support the accusation? Did he admit wrongdoing?
