2 teams not going anywhere; on a cold rainy day where half of the people are watching from the suites, where there is food and drinks. But hey, if that makes  your god happy.
Besides, the money has already been made by season ticket sales. But hey, that doesn?t feed the narrative now does it? LOL

The money has already been made via TV contracts...and the ratings are indeed tanking. But that doesn?t feed your narrative now does it? LOL

You illustrate that "De Nile Is Not Just a River in Egypt".  ;)

The problem is when you are trying to tie the declined ratings solely to players kneeling. I am sure it has had an impact but how large is the question. Rating have been declining for the last five years. If you break down individual games it is harder to demonstrate for instance MNF is up 6% from last year.

The interest in particular sports goes up and down based on many variables. Remember how NASCAR was becoming a rage at one point and the interest has waned. Baseball was once the National Pastime but football passed it up. IMHO the people who tend "to boycott" tend to be marginal fans (obviously there are exceptions).

and now with games on Sunday morning, Sunday night,Monday Night and now Thursdays, there is a bit of a saturation. and you have to factor in the blessing of RedZone. that will draw away viewers from network television.
BUUUT to the die in the wool, stars and stripe republican christian conservatives, that wont make a difference.  their god of "Murica was offended, so to hell with justice and righteousness. You better bow at the alter of "Muricana.....

Once again trying to make what has been a problem for 5 years into a simple issue is misguided. If players kneeling during the anthem is the issue then why is Monday Night Football ratings up from last year?  The truth is not all stadiums are half empty either.

I'm sure that you are correct in saying that the ratings drop could be attributed to market over-saturation as well as a host of other issues, including the anthem protests.  Whatever the reason or reasons are, only a fool of a businessman would continue to stick his fingers in his ears at a significant reason for his loss of profits.  The article Twisted cited is a perfect summation for a lot of people I know (including me).  I haven't watched any of the NFL since week 1 when these spoiled self-centered overpaid brats continued to flaunt their disrespect for the men and women who put their lives on the line so that they can be pampered by fat-cat owners to play a stupid game.  They'd do well to sit up and pay attention that they are cutting their noses off to spite their own faces (owners AND players).

Nice dodge.
The ratings and attendance are way down.
The protests are a major factor.
The NFL is responding accordingly.

But that doesn?t fit YOUR narrative does it? LOL!  ;)

NFL ratings aren't going down because of the Anthem protests, and most terrorists are actually peace-loving Allah-fearing misunderstood disciples of a 7th century child-nurturing pacifist!

If you are correct that the driver behind ratings for the NFL are going down primarily due to the players kneeling during the anthem...then why have the ratings been going down for 5 years and the ratings for Monday Night Football are up over last year.

If you can find in my statement where I gave any indication as to what I believe the PRIMARY reason is for the decline I'd be glad to attempt to defend said reason.  ;)  What I did say was that the NFL can keep trying to find reasons OTHER than the Anthem protests, but they do so to the detriment of their own profit margins.  That is plain for all to see, painfully so.

first; this was never about the military. This is about injustice to a certain people in our society that have been abused by the police for decades now. and if injustice doesn't seem that important to you, especially as a believer, then you are part of the problem....

My hope isn't in the military, or trump, or rushbo, or Faux News or the gods you serve....
but I truly wish and regret that I don't know you personally so that one day, I can see the look on your face when you realize, all this time, YOU have been the true liberal all along......
But when false preachers such as yourself keep pointing the church to these false idols, we will never see repentance in our country......repent and believe the Gospel!!
