And yet they are NFL games are still the highest rated live sports on TV and advertisers still scramble to advertise on the telecasts as they draw high numbers of young male viewers.

Sorta tragic, but that's free market capitalism.  Well, sorta "free" since the Feds give the NFL tons of our cash.

I think we all would be happy if there was not tax dollars spent on stadiums. The reality is many businesses look to locate where they receive tax advantages and incentives. States and cities do not want to lose the revenue that NFL and other pro-sports bring to their city and state.

Great commercial (though very logically flawed in many ways...)

I don't understand what that had to do with him?  He was interjected into something that he didn't represent.  He was a good quarterback, but he was never elite.  He rose and fell quickly.  After that, the only thing he is known for is protesting an injustice that he cannot fully define.  He cannot debate nor convince.  The commercial is inspiring, but he is the one element that was totally out of place.
