Shane Gillis a misogynist?

I’ve worked out for 25 years eaten clear and I’ve come to the conclusion that physique comes by genetics and steroids.

You still need to work hard. But that body is pure genetics and steroids.
I agree. I’ve been lifting for thirty years and have always been “natty,” but I’ve seen plenty of guys who are on the juice. When I was younger, I did the protein supplements and creatine for a while, but I got off both when my labs started getting out of whack and just stick with plain nutritional planning from my daily foods now.

I’m at 180 grams of protein a day. I eat, ground turkey, beef, white rice, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, green beans, berries, strawberries, nuts, protein shakes with liquid egg whites. I drink over a half gallon of water every day. I weigh 175lbs. and 5’7”. Train 5 days a week. When I feel my body needs to rest I drop down to 3 days a week for a month. Then I take one week off training and go back to 5 days a week.

I enjoy it!

I have always done cardio…for many years I was a consistent runner and enjoyed 10Ks and a few marathons. I have never consistently ‘worked out’ although I did frequent the gymn semi regularly. I always admired those who were toned, was never able to achieve it personally.

Now, I attempt to walk, creep or crawl 10k steps per day.

That’s awesome! Definitely need to have a strong mind for a 10k.

I was a runner for a time and evolved into lifting weights. This morning my incline was 205lbs. 4 sets of 12 reps. 2 minute rest in between. I try running now, sometimes. But the muscle (without trying to sound prideful 😂) I’ve built over the years makes it much more difficult. It’s become a hobby for me.

It’s awesome how much you ran the way you did. I love hearing that. I know how difficult it is to accomplish those goals.
