Another personal preference..............that some think is a conviction.

But my question is it that this was allowed to become a big deal standard for a large local church? And why didn't anyone stand up to this strange thinking?

Now, I think the open toed shoe rule is absolutely absurd, but we have rules for our school bus drivers  like: No backless shoes, no tank tops, and a few others!

Sure, if that was a rule for the janitors......but as I have been able to decipher from what has been said on this forum that this was some big deal about ladies in Bridal parties for weddings who were prohibited from wearing open toed shoes. It just sounds like JS had a foot fetish problem among others, that he was afraid of in his warped mind.
