This isn't a riot, it's a shopping spree.

"Police now have dash cam video that shows Keith Scott getting out of his car with a gun in hand and approaching police before he was shot dead.
But it didn?t stop the rioters and looters from hitting the street on Wednesday night in Charlotte."

It will matter very little to many of the protesters, I'm afraid.
How many of the OBLM narratives have proven to be lies, yet the 'outrage' continues in spite of the truth.

Your post shows that you have no idea how your sense of white privilege overflows with micro-aggression.  8)

How people of all races can avoid being shot by the cops.

I do appreciate that Graham had people on the front lines of the Charlotte riots, praying with both protestors and police.

That aside, he has no idea he is telling people to submit to UNCONSTITUTIONAL behavior.

The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides, "[t]he right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."

The ultimate goal of this provision is to protect people?s right to privacy and freedom from arbitrary governmental intrusions.  Private intrusions not acting in the color of governmental authority are exempted from the Fourth Amendment.

<snip>

The protection under the Fourth Amendment can be waived if one voluntarily consents to or does not object to evidence collected during a warrantless search or seizure.

Sandra Bland was right. The officer had no right to force her out of her car or demand she put down her cigarette. Concerning Graham, he needs to understand the Constitution and the rights we have. I'm sure he believes it OK to arm one's self against potential governmental intrusion but he is against non-consent?

He probably doesn't think it's right to loot, steal and destroy property...but that's just a random guess. And his advice to assure not getting shot by a cop still seems pretty common sense all to me. But of course liberal socialist democrat do gooders lack common sense. Or they wouldn't be liberal socialist democrat do gooders. ;)

Or perhaps Blacks are more conservative than you give them credit for: they are opposed to the government interfering with personal affairs, taking lives of unarmed folks, doing searches and seizures with no legitimate cause, etc. I guess it is better that cops execute criminals before a conviction than it is for Obama to restrict guns to try to keep them out of the hands of criminals.

Wait, are you for or against government interference in people's lives? Or is it just white folks you are concerned about protecting?

Have you been to a Black Lives Matter rally?

And you base this on what?

Walter William, Alan Keyes and other conservative blacks are called Uncle Toms by the majority of blacks.

This event which recently happened has the black man saying the sheriff was " not one of us".  True, he's not a thug.

My statement was tongue-in-cheek. My point is conservatives are allegedly opposed to gub'mint interference ("Don't take away our guns!"), but when the blacks contest gub'mint interference because they are being killed upon suspicion or non-compliance due to lack of reason of suspicion, conservatives tell them "Just do what the cop says, even though he has no legal right to stop and search you." In this case, it is the conservatives that are for "Big, Bad Gub'mint authority" and blacks opposed that kind of interference.

Yeah, it is where I store my chew.

I was going to post a pix of a guy who "chewed" but it was too horrible.  Of course I know you're kidding.
