Get your facts straight or stay out of adult conversations. ;)

My facts are, to quote myself: "Cruz isn't Canadian." Note the present tense. Please point out where my facts are incorrect, or shut up. Thank you.
Is facts singular or plural?

I think Trump is popular not only because he is politically incorrect, but because we have a generation of voters who think that vetting a presidential candidate is equivalent to seeing how many "likes" he has on facebook.  We're electing a president, not a gameshow or reality tv host.

He has been a successful business man most of his adult life. He's been a celebrity for a short amount of time. Treating him as being just an "entertainer" isn't accurate. He's more than that.

Ross Perot ring a bell?

I'm a bit younger than you.  Perot was my first vote, and the ideological mush in my head (voting for a third party guy) was only reinforced by the "he's a good businessman" line.  It takes more than being a successful CEO to understand the unbelievable complexity of dealing with international despots as well as working bi-partisan political differences.

No one has enough experience to be president. He has more than the rest of the field. At least, that is my opinion. Reagan wasn't prepared nor experienced.

Clearly, my fact is singular, so I don't know why Yeezy seems to think I've messed up more than one.

You're the one that took me "to task" for my statement on Cruz. Did you forget that?

I simple told the "rest of the story".

My reference to "facts" was in reference to your entire discourse. Not simple about Cruz.

Its ironic that FSSL is the one that started all this nonsense over a plural pronoun. Not me. I just joined the conversation and you little cry babies can't take it.

Personally, I like Cruz more, and love his intention to abolish agencies like the IRS, HUD, etc.  I doubt he'd be able to do that, but I also doubt Trump would be able to do what he says.  If only, though...

If it were a political liberal, you would be all over them like frosting with the "Hypocrisy!" and "Liars!" label. Glad to see you possess at least some grace for some politician. ;)

You're being premature.  If Cruz is elected and doesn't abolish those agencies (through fault of his own), then I'll be all over him being a liar.

Why yes, let's review the conversation, shall we?

It was suggested that I be Trump's running mate, to which I replied:

To which Yeezy replied:

Its not stopping Cruz....

Except, of course, as I accurately pointed out, Cruz isn't Canadian.

I simple told the "rest of the story".

There is no "rest of the story." There is only you wanting desperately not to be seen as being in error, such that you had to pretend I made one.

What other "fact" have I raised that I was in error about? The only one you've been whining about is Ted Cruz' Canadian non-citizenship.

God grief. Cruz has been running for President for years. He was a Canadian citizen when he was running for President. He just recently renounced his citizenship. That is the rest of the story. I wasn't wrong. I said it never stop Cruz. He was actively seeking the presidency while holding a dual citizenship with Canada.

You're the one trying to "parse your words" to make it appear I was wrong.

You are so wrong.

He says things that not one of the others bring up like, if Ford builds a plant in Mexico I will tax them so hard to bring those vehicles back into our country it will not be worth it for them to take our jobs over there.

No one else I mean no one, is talking like this.

Comments like this is why he is leading the polls.  Not bc people think he is some sort of a celebrity. Your comment is what the GOP establishment thinks is the reason he is leading in the polls, and they are so out of touch with common people it's disgusting.

Carly, Carson and Trump are winning in the polls, HELLO!!

Yes, Cruz was a Canadian citizen.

But, as I said, Cruz isn't Canadian.

He just recently renounced his citizenship.

Which is to say, as I have said all along, Cruz isn't Canadian.

That is the rest of the story. I wasn't wrong.

So the rest of the story is, you agree with me when I say Cruz isn't Canadian, yet you had to pick a fight over it with me anyway?

Politicians often campaign on the ambiguous platform of "vote for change".  That is the general sentiment behind those who rally behind all three "Washington outsiders".  Change for change sake is just dumb, or gullible.  Many of the things that Trump say sounds good, but the real question is often pressed upon him about how he would accomplish his claims, but all too often he comes back with empty platitiudes or vague mumbo-jumbo.  Don't get me wrong, I'd take any of those on the stage ahead of Billary, but I'm not fooled into thinking Trump's bluster has any substantive backing to it.

Well if you believe nothing can really be changed than it doesn't matter who is president Trump or Hillary, Cruz or Jeb. Because by what you say the things that really need to be changed (like what I have stated above) can't be "REALLY" changed no matter who is in office.

But in my opinion someone like Trump will use his executive order to make the change and not be scared to say, hey it's a bad deal why are we still doing this, and actually state why he did it.

The endorsement of the mob does not make one qualified to assume a position of power.

Actually, it was Obama who campaigned on ambiguous "change".  Trump and Cruz have actually been specific about SOME things.

I think one of the reasons people have confidence in Trump when he's NOT specific, is because we trust him to surround himself with the most talented people.  IMO, that is a Trump strength, and he occasionally talks about it.  When he says he knows the best negotiators for trade deals, I believe him, especially when he also says these are not nice people, but they know how to get the job done.  This is actually a Biblical concept:

Proverbs 11:14  Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory.

Obama surrounds himself with token minorities, yes men/women, and ideologues like himself, not people who are best equipped for the job. And since they're his cronies, he holds none of them accountable to anything when they fail.  I don't really want Trump as president, but whoever gets elected, I hope they'll adopt Trump's attitude of, "You did a lousy job.  You're fired."

i;ll never forget what i overheard at the fisheries auction block in the summer of 2012... .. two fisherman talking about the upcoming election......... one of them said....... "in 2008 i voted obama coz i thought he was going to let us smoke weed..... but he nevah...... so now i like vote dole coz at least then we can have guns........."

sometimes .....it;s just that simple..........

i know...... i posted about that before......... but...it was hilarious......mostly coz they were so serious..............  you would have to have been there........ 8)

Yup.  People often simply vote their short-term interests.  When I was working as a consultant for the federal government, almost all the people I worked with said they would vote for Obama because republicans want to cut back on government spending.

But they won't adopt that attitude because that's not who they are that's not who they are now why would it change?

Take this attack on France, Trump is the ONLY one talking about securing the border and building a wall and the media and even some of the other candidates are trying to portray him as a looney.

You think the other candidates will start talking about securing the borders now? Well guess what? Trumps been talking about it.  And you better believe he will say, I was the only one talking like this not these dummies.

And again, it will push him up in the poles.
