If you can  use the results of text giving to pay the bills why not text invitation responses they would be easier to count and more accurate than counting hands. Oh, and harder to fudge. Ok, maybe not so good.

I have been to several sporting events where they use texting for various things in the stadiums, works well for positive crowd interactions.
 
On FBC's live stream Sunday night,  Henry and Jan Brown were recognized for over 40 years of service at FBC before their move to Mesa, AZ.  Mr Brown had been FBC's deacon chairman?..has his replacement been named?

Yes Elton was elected by the board as chairman of the corporation. He had been vice chairman for many years.
He was just next in line. Corporate officers are elected for 1 year terms. You have to be a board member to be eligible.

Yes, the early NT church service was about preaching, not entertainment.

No and that is a good thing.

Our present pastor is a humble godly man.

I can say I have never heard him brag about the great things he has done even once.
 
At our church here in the sunny south where BBQ is a big deal all the dad's received a rub. That's a BBQ chicken seasoning Rub.......................not a massage.
