JERUSALEM is not the sole proprietorship of ISRAEL

Problem with your logic...

You say, "Ultimately, there is not a single person alive today that can prove his or her lineage."
THEN you conclude, ""they are physically Khazars and not Israelites."

IF a single person cannot prove his lineage, then how can they prove they are Khazars?

Please tell us, was King David a Jew and Israelite?

I believe I mentioned elsewhere that there has been a lot of DNA testing on those who call themselves "Jews."  Only 15% show a connection to those, whom it is assumed have lived in Palestine for multiple generations.  Clearly, about 95% of all "Jews" currently living in Israel either arrived there or are descendants of those who arrived there from Europe beginning in the 1880's, and since.  85% show such a connection to those from Eastern Europe.  In other words, DNA testing shows no genetic connection between the Eastern European Jews and those who were indigenous to Palestine.  DNA testing only goes back, at this time, to about 1000 A.D.

It is not possible to determine genetically if a person is a descendant of Abraham or not.  One would have to have a sample of Abraham's DNA in order to do that; and, of course, that is just not possible.

All of this is a moot point, however.  The Apostle Paul made it clear in Galatians that the day of Jewry has passed.  The Jews and Israel are no longer in God's plan.

You are wrong.

Jewish men from communities which developed in the Near East ?- Iran, Iraq, Kurdistan, Yemen -- and European Jews have very similar, almost identical genetic profiles.

"Despite their long-term residence in different countries and isolation from one another, most Jewish populations were not significantly different from one another at the genetic level. The results support the hypothesis that the paternal gene pools of Jewish communities from Europe, North Africa and the Middle East descended from a common Middle Eastern ancestral population, and suggest that most Jewish communities have remained relatively isolated from neighboring non-Jewish communities during and after the Diaspora."

No, I am not wrong.  Wallow in your ignorance, if you must.

But Abraham, himself, could come to us, let us swab his cheek; and from that we could determine that everyone on the face of the earth is genetically identical to Abraham, and that would mean nothing.

The Apostle Paul made it clear:  God's promise to Abraham's seed had nothing to do with Abraham's descendants, the Israelites or Jews.

Well, whatever.  Given the definition that a "Jew" is someone who was a member of the tribe of Judah, of course Dvid was a Jew.

Alternately, in researching the etymology of the word "Jew" I have read where anyone who resided in the Roman province of Judea was referred to as a "Jew."

So, I don't know where you got that I explicitly said that David was not a Jew.

You denied it on the basis of your silly DNA proposal because his grandmother was a Moabite.

No, you came to that conclusion.  Not I.  Pay attention.  A "Jew" was a member of the kingdom of Judah.  Did not necessarily have to be a descendant of Abraham.  Where do you think the term "Jew" came from?  It is the English derivative of Jude.  People who equate all of the descendants of Abraham as Jews are ignorant.  I even read somewhere where Abraham was the first Jew.  Wht a crock!  What arrogance!  What ignorance!

Pay attention, and quit putting words in my mouth.

Gen 14:13  Then one who had escaped came and told Abram the Hebrew, who was living by the oaks of Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol and of Aner. These were allies of Abram.

?Hebrew? is used for the first time in Genesis 14:13 which is the ?ethnic? designation, ?descended from Eber? (Gen 11:15-17), and is given to Abram.  Foreigners used it of Israelites and Israelites used it of themselves in the presence of foreigners (cf. Gen 40:15; 43:32).

?Jewish? is the word used to refer to everything that relates to the culture and religion of the Jews. It includes their nationality, ethnicity, religion, and traditions. The State of Israel is established as a Jewish nation whose people are descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Generally speaking, the terms Hebrews, Jews, and Israelites all refer to the same people- the nation which sprang from Abraham through Isaac and Jacob, a nation promised and chosen by God in the Old Testament (Genesis 12:1-3). Each term emphasizes some aspect of this people's origin or background.

The re-establishment of Israel as being counted among the nations of the world was prophesied in various places in the Old Testament and no amount of Jew hatred will stop what God has decreed.  So suck it up Route.  They are here to stay in spite of the United Nations or Satan himself.

What about the New Testament?  Did anyone prophesy the restablishment of Israel among the NT writers?

I didn't think so.  To the contrary, Paul explicitly writes that the prophecies of the OT had nothing to do with the then Jews or Israelites, and by extension, any future "Jews or Israelites."

Just so there is no misunderstanding:  I have nothing against any person or group of peoiple who calls himself a "Jew."  I am not among those who would blame the Jews for all our troubles.  Those people have as much right to peace, happiness, and liberty as anyone else.  They do not, however, have the right to claim Jerusalem as their sole property.  They are wrong for expelling Palestinians from their ancestral homeland.

The same argument is used that God is unjust because He allows some to go to hell while choosing to save others.  Take that up with the Creator.

No, He would be an unjust God if He required unjust man to commit the unjust act of murdering an innocent for His personal justice to be satisfied.

For nearly 2000, following the destruction of Jerusalem and Herod?s Temple by the Romans, Jews and Arabs lived side by side in relative peace, in the area then known as the ?Levant.?  Most of that time, the area was governed by first, the Holy Roman Empire, then later by the Ottoman?s and Turks.

Extreme anti-Semitism and Jewish persecution in Europe, catalyzed the organization of The Zionist movement, which got going in the late 1800?s.

The real break for the Jews came in the form of WW1.  On the side of the Allies were the UK. France, and Russia.  The Central Powers were comprised of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and The Ottoman Empire.  With the demise of Russia as an ally, and with defeat imminent, the British did the following:

First, they promised the Arabs (living in what is now Iraq, Iran, Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon) their independence from the Turks in exchanged for their help in driving the Turks out of the war.  This resulted in the first Arab Revolt, leading to the demise of the Ottoman Empire, and contributing to the defeat of the Central Powers.

Second, the British, in an attempt to draw the U.S. into the war, appealed to the Zionists, living in the U.S., the largest single contingent of which lived in New York.  The Zionists were promised assistance by the British in establishing a homeland (no particular location was promised or even discussed).

I know I am oversimplifying here, but the end result of all this is that with the establishment of the Zionist movement, Jews began a slow migration to Palestine.  In the beginning conflict between Jews and Arabs was rare.  Jewish immigration picked up after WW1.  The British and the French had been assigned governorship of the Levant by the League of Nations, and continued to govern through WW2.

In the meantime, the Arab people clamored for the Brits to fulfill on their promise to help the Arabs gain independence.  Likewise, the Zionists clamored for theirs.  An uneasy alliance developed.

Then came WW2, after which Jewish immigration to Palestine picked up in earnest.  This fomented another uprising among the Arabs.  Eventually, the Zionists likewise rebelled, committing violent acts of terrorism against their British hosts.

The Brits left, and on May 14, 1948, the Zionists declared their independence.  We all know what happened next.  The surrounding Arab territories attacked.

I will stop there.  The point of this post is to give you a little background (oversimplified, sure); but hopefully a point with which to begin your own research into how the state of Israel came about.  The current state of Israel is NOT the ancient kingdom of Israel reestablishing itself.  Not even close.

A few of you will scorn at this post.  I do not care.  It is time that the good-goody, church-going, Bible-toting, praise-and-worshipping, ?Mansion Over the Hilltop? Christians in this country had their ignorance dissipated, and were properly educated regarding this matter of Israel and Jerusalem.

I have written extensively on this already, and have published this to my blog.  If you are truly interested in having the scales removed from your eyes, and in knowing the truth, you may follow the link below.

Israel Destroyed and the Land Destroyed.

"The whole land will be a burning waste of salt and sulfur-nothing planted, nothing sprouting, no vegetation growing on it. It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in fierce anger." (Deuteronomy 29:23).

Back in 1867, American writer Mark Twain wrote about the land at the time saying, "Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes? the spell of a curse that has withered its fields and fettered its energies? Palestine is desolate and unlovely? It is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land."

The Hebrew Language Would Be Resurrected

"For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the LORD, to serve Him with one accord." (Zephaniah 3:9 NASB)
As the Jews were scattered throughout the world, they gradually stopped speaking their native Hebrew and picked up the languages of the countries where they fled.  After many centuries, few Jews could speak Hebrew or even read the Torah (the Law).

God orchestrated this revival of spoken and written Hebrew through a single Orthodox Jew who took the name Eliezer Ben-Yehuda. Almost singlehandedly, despite great opposition from his own people, this man resurrected the Hebrew tongue as he studied the Hebrew language all over the world." This became Eliezer's lifelong mission from God, and he reintroduced Hebrew to Palestine where it eventually became Israel's native tongue.

Israel Would be Reborn in a Day.

"Who has ever heard of such a thing? Who has ever seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children." (Isaiah 66:8 NIV).

Israel, a country that had not really existed as a separate nation for nearly 2,500 years, was declared a new sovereign state by an act of the United Nations on May 14, 1948. The nation was literally born in a single day just as God predicted it would be.

A Worldwide Return of Jews to Israel

Amos 9:14-15 (NKJV)
14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them;
They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them;
They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them.
15 I will plant them in their land,
And no longer shall they be pulled up
From the land I have given them,?

Says the Lord your God.

The Jews Would Return to Jerusalem

"This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'I will save my people from the countries of the east and the west. I will bring them back to live in Jerusalem; they will be my people, and I will be faithful and righteous to them as their God.'" (Zechariah 8:7-8).

Although Israel became a nation in 1948, the Jews did not have control over Jerusalem until 1967 when they recaptured the city during the Six Day War.

Israel Would Bloom and the Fill the World with Fruit.

"The days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'when the reaper will be overtaken by the plowman and the planter by the one treading grapes. New wine will drip from the mountains and flow from all the hills, and I will bring my people Israel back from exile.'" (Amos 9:13-14a NIV)
"In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit." Isaiah 26:6 NIV)

Palestine was a desolate wasteland full of malarial swamps and deserts right up until the beginning of the last century. When the Jews began to return to the area in large numbers, they began to transform the land. Israel has now advanced in their farming and irrigation techniques taking this once barren land and turning it back into extremely productive farmland. Israel is today a source of food for many countries.

In the Last Days the Lord will Defend Jerusalem and Israel.

"I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All the nations will gather against it to try to move it, but they will only hurt themselves... And the clans of Judah will say to themselves, 'The people of Jerusalem have found strength in the Lord of Heaven's Armies, their God.'" Zechariah 12:3-4, 5 NLT

Many Israelis don't actually believe in God and are not religious at all. But they are still seeing the obvious hand of his protection upon them.
