Orthodoxy is kind of like RCC with less papacy and extra mysticism.
There's a large Lebanese population in Ottawa, and an Antiochian Orthodox church hosts an annual Lebanese festival. Ditto the food--Greek and Lebanese food are both Mediterranean, so quite similar. Take a gyros, swap out the minced lamb and beef, and add shaved roast beef or chicken, and you've got shawarma. You can't live in Ottawa without liking Lebanese food: there's basically one Lebanese family that runs the food service industry.
